The beach is located at the tiny fishing village of Marina della Lobra, a pretty cluster of homes still inhabited by fishermen and boaters. The little protected harbor hosts their boats, and the town is rich in olive and lemon trees. There is a small sandy beach right in the harbor at the edge of the village. Walking or swimming along the shoreline brings you to other rocky spots where you can swim and sun on the shales. The village is in the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella and was awarded the Bandiera Blu (Blue Flag) designation for cleanliness.

A road leads to the village, but walking enthusiasts like to hike down from Massa Lubrense among the pathways and steps that lead to the water. There is a restaurant and pizzeria in the village.
