The beach called Mare dei Cavalli is right in the town of Marina di Mancaversa, making it easy to spend a day at the sea. It's one of the few sandy beaches on this part of the Ionian Sea, as most of the coast is made up on low reefs. This one is easily accessible, has a traditional "beach" and clear water. Fun fact: it's named "sea of the horses" because once-upon-a-time the residents used to bring their steeds here to wash them!
