The beach known as Le Rocchette is on the Tuscan Maremma coast by Punta Ala, a beautiful spot of soft golden sand surrounded by natural vegetation. It is one of the loveliest and most famous spots of the "Tuscan Riviera". There are also dark red rocky reefs, nice for snorkeling. There is a long tract of beach that is left in its natural state, and is free and open. Other parts are outfitted with umbrellas and chairs for rental.

The sea here is beautiful with crystal-clear water with a sandy bottom, making it perfect for swimming or soaking, and great for kids to play. The beach is accessible from the area called "le Rocchette", following a trail towards the promontory, with the beach below it. Along the promontory rocks, there are small natural pools that are nice for sitting and soaking. You'll find services that include showers, umbrella and chair rentals, beach bars and restaurants. The area has the coveted "bandiera blu" (blue flag) for quality, cleanliness and clear water.
