Lamborghini Winery

Known for its high performance sports cars, the Lamborghini world also includes a winery (and golf course and restaurant, too!). The estate was purchased by Ferruccio Lamborghini in the 1960s and turned into a resort, golf club, and winery, with some excellent wines. It's not so surprising that he returned to his roots and the land, as Lamborghini started out as a tractor company. Like the sleek automobiles they are famous for, the wines are modern and innovative with beautiful packaging.

Schedule a tour of the winery and a tasting; they have options that include Umbrian snacks or lunch in the restaurant, too. It is located just south of Lake Trasimeno, in Panicarola Panicale.
