La Cozza Restaurant

Near Torre Vado at Posto Vecchio the restaurant La Cozza has been in business since 1960. What started as a seaside shack selling freshly-caught mussels (le cozze, hence the name) evolved through the years to a simple restaurant and little by little to the more refined and elegant restaurant it is now. But it is still down to earth, keeping its roots as a beach establishment and proponent of the area's delicacies, while adding some flair and new flavors alongside.

The restaurant takes advantage of the unparalleled views being right on the beach with a stunning overlook of the shades of the sea and the sky. For special occasions (by reservation) they will set up a table for two right on the sand with candles where the sound of the waves and the stars overhead are your accompaniments.

The fare is primarily seafood, with local recipes as well as refined ones, presented with attention to detail and beauty by the Chef. Sushi is served on the terrace, where you can also enjoy an aperitivo with a view. Pizza is also on offer. They serve everything from morning breakfasts to lunch under your beach umbrella or on the terrace, and dinner in the spectacular dining room or outside.
