La Bandita Horse Stables

The Maremma is known for its cowboys and love of horses so an outing on horseback would be a great experience. The stables Centro Ippico La Bandita organizes excursions on horse; you can gallop along the beaches near Punta Ala (October through May) or in the low brush-covered hills inland. A full day excursion includes lunch, and they somtimes organize dinners at the stables and horse shows, too.
