Puglia is well-known for its wines, so while you're in the Martina Franca area, stop by and sample the vintages at Ionis winery. They've been at it here for more than 40 years, perfecting the wines and racking up awards for them. Puglia's best grapes - negroamaro, primitivo, nero di Troia, and malvasia are represented in fine style. Conveniently located right at the edge of Martina Franca near the hospital.

Open weekdays from 9:00 AM til 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM til 8:00 PM; Saturday from 9:00 AM til 1:00 PM. Closed Sunday.
