You'll find a great beach along with ancient Roman ruins dating to the 2nd century BC at Il Pezzolo in Vico Equense. The beach has a mix of golden sand and reef, with a shallow depth that makes it great for families. Access is free for small sections, but most of the beach is covered with umbrellas and sunbeds that you pay a fee for. The setting is nice, beneath the cliff and with the ruins of the ancient settlement evident.
