Agnone Cilento may be a small seaside hamlet but it has a big-deal restaurant to try out the local seafood specialties. Il Paisa' is on its third generation, having been opened in 1971 by nonna. Today the grandsons run it, using only local ingredients to create daily menus that change based on the catch and harvest. Called "kilometer zero" in Italy, meaning everything comes from the direct zone.

There is no meat here -each day's menu is based on the fresh catch of the day and the produce from the local gardens. Try the abundant antipasto (almost a meal in itself!) but try to save room for the fruit-based desserts.

Open every day June through September; open on weekends from March through June. Other periods are by request.
