Donnalucata is seaside area that is a "frazione" of Scicli, which is eight kilometers away. It extends from Playa Grande down to Pezza Filippa and Spinasanta. It had been an old fishing village and keeps the tradition of excellent seafood at the restaurants at the little port, which is separated from the beach by a rocky breakwall. There's a seafront promenade, and the beach has some hot fresh water springs that form a little pool. More famously, the beach is often seen in the Montalbano mystery series as the Marinella beach.

There are two areas of sandy beach, both right in town. To the north is the palm-lined sweep that extends out from the marina, while to the south is the long lungomare of Via Marina with reefs that then gives way to the sandy beach to goes all the way down to the Pezza Filippa beach.

Golden, fine sand with spots of free access and tracts of managed beach with umbrellas and snack bars, with clear water. The concessions offer water sports and beach volleyball. Convenient location and easy access.
