Chalet La Rotonda

Easy-going but upscale beach and restaurant in Porto Recanati, for a great day at the seaside. They've been around since 1962, and have kept perfecting the services. The restaurant is worth the trip alone - refined and noted as one of the Marche coast's best, with a lovely dining room and outdoor terrace facing the water.

But the beach is great - golden sand, water than gets deep gradually, and umbrellas and sun beds for comfort.
