Cefalu City Beach

The city beach of Cefalu' is a gem that is easily reached from the city center and offers golden sand for sunning and relaxing. With more than a kilometer of beach, it's user-friendly. There are concessions that rent umbrellas and sun beds, as well as tracts of free beach. Because of its easy access, the beach does get quite crowded in July and August.

The water is clear and calm, and when the sun goes down, the beach stays active with casual nightlife. With its shallow water and progressive deepening, it is very suitable for families and children. It's lovely, too, with the Duomo, the rock promontory, the old port, and the city as a backdrop.
