Antico Caffe del Lago

On the piazza in Orta San Giulio, this historic caffe is a special place. It kicked off in the 1700s and still serves drinks and goodies to visitors on Lake Orta. Grab a table on the piazza and enjoy a cappuccino and pastry, or a pre-dinner glass of local wine with nibbles. They have an extensive list of Piedmont wines and selections from neighboring regions. Sample some local cheese and salami with your vino or beer. Gelato and a nice selection of tea is available, too.
