May 2023 - Lovely cottage in the heart of Positano. There is a number stairs to get down to the road so beware. Other than that you are in a prime location to enjoy the beach and restaurants.

Really enjoyed our stay
September 2022 - We really enjoyed our stay here. The covered outdoor area was an excellent detail with the unseasonal rain. We were able to enjoy the outside even despite the 2 days of rain. The gardener brought us fresh tomatoes which we used to make some bruschetta between meals. There are a good amount of stairs but the privacy and view are worth the climb.

A quiet oasis just above the bustling town
July 2019 - We absolutely loved our time at Villino Tanino! It is a quiet oasis just above the bustling town. It was a nice refuge to return to after exploring all day.
The location was spectacular and offered a beautiful view of the town and surrounding villas.
The home was perfect for our needs, and we really loved spending time on the gorgeous patio with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The home is modern and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed every aspect of staying here and would recommend Villino Tanino to anyone!
We would like to thank the owners for their hospitality and for being very gracious hosts. We especially loved meeting Mr. Salvatore, the groundskeeper of the property. The owner was fantastic to work with and was excellent in communicating with us.
Summer In Italy was a good first time rental experience for us. We appreciated all of the communication prior to the trip. We will definitely rent from Summer In Italy again, and will recommend you to anyone we know visiting Italy soon. Thank you for a great home booking experience!
Travel tips
- We did a lot of exploring by walking, and this location is very convenient.
- Near the base of the stairs to the home, one can find a bus route (though we never took it), which is convenient.
- If you rent a car, a parking garage is nearby which was helpful.
- Our very favorite restaurant, Restaurant Mediterraneo, is a definite recommendation.

August 2018 - Villino Tanino was the best spot we can imagine.
Although you have to climb 170 steps up to the property it's all worth it.
We really enjoyed the outdoor facilities although they might consider replacing the plastic chairs by the marble table with chairs of another material.

June 2018 - Villino Tanino was the perfect place to stay in Positano, very close to the centre of town but extremely peaceful!
Everything about it was fantastic, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend it.

- We took a trip on the hydrofoil to Ischia, it was lovely and much quieter than Capri.

Travel tips
- You are a short but steep walk from all the local shops and restaurants. You have to walk up and down in Positano, to get to see all the local shops.
- Positano taxi's are just at the bottom of the hill, and are fantastic.
- If you require a transfer to and from the airport, these guys are perfect... Much cheaper to do it yourself.
- If you wish to see other villages like Amalfi, get the ferry right down in Positano on the beach.
- We found the best restaurant in Positano was Chez Black.

- Go 'up' for provisions. Little corner shop is great for fruit and veg.
- John, in the other shop, does a cheese and wine tasting on Saturday night and will deliver!
