Excellent
April 2007 - Villa Silvia was a wonderful place to vacation.
We used the train to go into Rome, which was convenient and fast. We traveled away from Rome on most days and enjoyed the countryside and the fine restaurants.
We attended a country fair, bought watercolors from local artists, drank local wine and totally enjoyed ourselves. We built a fire in the stove most evenings.
This is the second time we have booked with Summer in Italy and would recommend them to everyone. Both villas have been just as advertised. The directions were very helpful.
Travel tips
- Take day trips to local towns, eat lunch in local places and cook sometimes (the kitchen has everything you will need to cook a gourmet meal).
- The grocery stores are convenient to the villa.
- We had lunch in these two restaurants: Ristorante Il Poggetto, which was off 313 and Val Sia Rosa, which was outside of Civita Castellana.
Unfortunately, Villa Silvia can not be booked at this time.
We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
