Beautiful house in stunning location
July 2025 - We stayed in this beautiful house in July 2025 with our two kids (10 and 13) and family friends.
A stunning location on the top of the mountain, great house with pool that can entertain kids for days.
The host was very accommodating and communication was great.
Two restaurants (with unparalleled views) close by with excellent local cuisine and friendly neighbours.
If you are looking for a truly authentic stay, are not shying away from hiking to Positano (check the trail with stunning views) this is the best choice!

Lovely, spacious, charming villa in a quiet spot
July 2024 - Lovely, spacious, charming villa in a quiet spot. Lovely pool area, great patio, fantastic garden and mountain view. The house isn’t new, but very well maintained. No air condition, but the altitude means the night air isn’t too hot, we used electrical fans the first night but then managed without them. Some narrow roads to get to the house, but that goes for the whole region.
The owner of Villa Rocca Angelica is the perfect, friendly, service minded host.
We got very good information, booking, payment, arrival, stay and departure went well.
Travel tips
- Lovely cities all around, book popular restaurants early. Don’t go Pompeii on a hot day and don’t bring small kids there.
- Pizza course in Napoli was a fun activity for the family.

July 2023 - A week of sun, relaxation and splashing in the pool. Great family holiday away from the extreme business of the tourist resorts. We highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, peaceful holiday to enjoy nature and keep the kids happy with the huge pool and gardens. The sleeping arrangements are a bit unconventional as we were 2 families but we made it work.
The owners were lovely. At our request they did a bit of shopping for us arriving, always on hand to help and even picked us up in Positano after our transfer back from a family wedding let us down! Nothing was too much trouble.
Great week had by all in the lovely mountains away from the busy tourist resorts, bliss!
Travel tips
- Local restaurant 1 min walk away does beautiful food to sit in and take away plus has a small shop attached and there is also pizza delivery nearby which was a big hit with the kids and the best pizza they had every tasted.
