Wonderful stay at Yucca holiday home

August 2025 - We had a truly wonderful stay at the holiday home. The house is located in the middle of a plantation – a very special setting that offers plenty of peace and nature.

It's an older building, lovingly renovated, cozy, but also rather small: one bedroom for two people and a sofa bed in the kitchen-living room. It's manageable for five people, but a bit cramped, especially if you plan on cooking a lot, as there are only two hotplates. There's a larger table outside, so you can also enjoy meals together. The pool was particularly great! It's only used by a few houses, and we often had it all to ourselves.

Everything was very clean and well-maintained, the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant. A big thank you to Emilio [the caretaker] – he's incredibly friendly, speaks German, and helps immediately if you need anything. The contact with the owner was also friendly and engaging. Even before our arrival, we received a lot of helpful information and tips, which we really appreciated.

It's good to know: The house isn't a luxury retreat, but a charming, older holiday home with character. If you appreciate that, you'll feel very comfortable. At dusk, remember to bring mosquito repellent. The air conditioning is excellent! The beach is about 12 minutes away.

Our conclusion: A very lovingly run accommodation in beautiful surroundings, perfect for relaxation – we felt completely at home and would come back anytime!

Quiet location, warm welcome

May 2025 - We arrived late in the evening and were warmly welcomed by Emilio. Everything was very easy and he was always happy to answer any questions.

The accommodation and the surroundings correspond to the descriptions and photos. We were there at the end of April/beginning of May and the weather was not yet suitable for swimming, but the pool looked very attractive. The quiet location in the middle of a lemon grove is fantastic and we enjoyed walking around the property almost every evening. We were allowed to pick lemons and oranges for the salad dressing or the freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast directly from the tree. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace in the evening and having a barbecue.

It was a great stay

July 2024 - The place is quiet and clean but you can get to near and distant places with a car if you like. The pool is very clean and just over the lawn from the terrace. Also, the windows do have mosquito nets.

We can highly recommend the place.

Fabulous agriturismo experience

August 2023 - We had a fabulous holiday, the property was exactly as described with the added bonus of fantastic breakfast featuring local produce from the farm, it was absolutely delicious and allowed us to experience the delights of Sicilian cuisine.
