June 2025 - This is an amazing place to gather friends and family. The house, outdoor spaces, and the pool were just beautiful. The furnishings were lovely and the beds were comfortable.

We had so much fun exploring all of the Tuscan towns, easily reached from the villa. We also enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and being lazy by the pool. After our week, we wished we had reserved the villa for two.

Travel tips

  • The local village has an excellent restaurant, Nostrano. The chef, Roberto, grills a great Florentine steak!

Travel tips

  • Villa Palladio is a great base for exploring Chianti and northern Tuscany. Siena, San Gimignano, Greve, Panzano, and so many other wonderful places within easy day trip distance. That said, we always were so happy to be "home" and wished that we had more time to spend there.
  • Our Garmin gps navigator was a lifesaver.

  • Don't miss Greve in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti. Lovely little Chianti valley towns! Make sure you check for wine tasting events in the Chianti valley which offer a chance to taste wines from 25 to 30 different wineries on one place.
