Fantastic property with spectacular views

October 2023 - Oh my, the property is fantastic. The grounds, the pool, the outdoor grill and pizza oven, all awesome. We spent all our time outside. The views of Ravello and Amalfi were spectacular. Would highly recommend this property. The only downside, if you can call it that, was the walk up the stairs from the villa back up to the main road. Highly recommend using the baggage porter service to take luggage back up at checkout. At €8 per bag, highly worth it.

Simply spectacular

August 2023 - The villa was simply spectacular. The views were stunning, Marilena (the property manager) was so helpful, and the owner (Pina) was just lovely and a wonderful cook. We will come back for sure.

Perfection

July 2023 - This place could not be more perfect. There is a calm silence in the morning at Villa Minuta that is invigorating. The roosters crowing, the church bells ringing and the smell of lavender in the air.

Mrs. Pina [the owner] and her staff are the quintessential hosts. Zucchini blossoms, arancini, delectable pasta fagioli and the most delightful tomato salad ever eaten are just some of the delicious food she served us. Her joy for life and her welcoming demeanor made this truly an unforgettable trip. The concierge, Marilena, helped us select the most wonderful restaurants and excursions, and was available to assist us before and during our entire time at the Amalfi Coast. She helped make this vacation extremely memorable.

We had three generations gathering to celebrate milestones including one year, five year, twenty five year, and fifty year wedding anniversaries. It truly was an incredible getaway!

The perfect choice for our family, nothing short of magical!

October 2022 - Villa Minuta was nothing short of magical. Every detail was perfect during our entire stay.

The grounds of the villa were spectacular, with a garden maze for our two young children to run around, beautiful pool with plenty of lounge chairs, and multiple patios and terraces to sip coffee, enjoy the views, and just relax. Inside the villa was very, very clean, with cleaning service coming to visit multiple times during our stay. In-house washer was very convenient and easy to use. This villa was the perfect choice for our family for the week while attending a wedding in Ravello.

Luca was very responsive to communications prior to the trip, and provided great resources in preparation to ensure every detail was met and exceeded. Marilena was a fabulous coordinator during our stay - from pre-delivering flowers to the villa upon arrival, to recommending and setting up chef Pina to come and cook for us two nights during our stay (every course was absolutely amazing and highly recommend this experience), to recommending our taxi in Scala to drive us wherever we wanted - we travelled often to Ravello (about 8 min) and also went to Amalfi (about 25 min) - amazing service, very responsive, very professional, safe, and well-priced when comparing to other services. Truly, everything leading up to and during our stay was absolutely magical. Every recommendation was spot on. Villa was meticulously cared for (flowers, grounds, interior linens, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, etc) which was really important to us.

The pre-visit paperwork was very helpful to prepare for our stay (navigating there, what to expect, etc). You've got a great team there.

All the details were very helpful, and was very easy to process, plan, and coordinate. Team was very responsive and professional. We decided to book with Summer In Italy based upon the villa that we found, and we actually recommended Summer In Italy web page to other family members who were looking for accommodations during the same time of travel.

Extraordinary villa, could not have had a better stay

June 2022 - Villa Minuta is extraordinary. I will be dreaming about this villa for a lifetime. I pray to return one day. My party and I could not have had a better stay or have picked a more divine location.

Wonderful environment and wonderful accommodation

September 2019 - Five couples stayed here. Wonderful environment and wonderful accommodation. The villa with the swimming pool and all the other facilities made us feel like a king.

Our host Mrs Pina cooked for us two nights and no one was betrayed by her food. The assistance we got from Lidia [the property manager] was unique and we enjoyed everything she recommended. Pina and Lidia, thank you very much for this week, it won't leave our memories for months. We will be back!

Scenic location

June 2019 - The villa is perfectly situated in scenic Scala -- a short stroll to the small village downtown for groceries and sundries and a lovely hour’s walk downhill to Amalfi.

Scenic overviews and a beautiful garden on the property, a lovely pool, gorgeous oven and outdoor space makes for a brilliant family and friends’ retreat. We plan to make this an annual visit!

Summer in Italy is extremely responsive, professional, and a delight to work with!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

October 2018 - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Villa Minuta is amazing, fabulous gardens, patios and other outdoor space.

The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Kitchen fairly small for a villa sleeping 10 but very well equipped. The barbecue area is lovely. Bathrooms plentiful and fine, bit dated. Loved the pool and of course the amazing view. Lots of steps to walk of the pizza and pasta.

Everyone was really helpful and friendly.

Fantastic

September 2018 - We had a great time at Villa Minuta. Didn't realize there were so many steps from the street to the villa, but it worked out. Wished we had a little more time that we could linger outside. We hardly used the inside of the house except to sleep. If we were there, we were outside.

September 2018 - It was the best. If I am ever back in the area with a group of friends or family, Villa Minuta is where I am staying.

September 2017 - We had a fantastic time at Villa Minuta. The house and setting are amazing, and the location was perfect.

The whole coast is hilly so we walked and climbed steps from town to town to work off the excellent food everywhere and took the easy-to-navigate buses whenever we got tired. You really can walk almost everywhere from the house -- Amalfi, Ravello, Minori, Maiori.

The bustle of the towns on the coast calms as you get to Ravello, a lovely town with 2 enchanting gardens, then calms more as you get to Scala, a quaint little square with a cafe and restaurant, and a couple of markets.

The house and grounds, though, are perfectly serene with a patio looking out over the hills and sea, a yard for strolling, and hidden little alcoves here and there.
