We had a perfect time!

January 2024 - We were with a group of 5 adults and 3 children and the house was perfect for us. A lot of living space and a huge kitchen with everything we needed. It was winter and we could use the huge fireplace in the living room. That was enough for us to keep warm. Upstairs there was central heating which we only used for the children, when going to bed. There is a very nice, big garden which is secured for the children to play in.

The house in the centre of the small, quiet village in the hills with a couple of small shops for the first needs. Private parking space in front of the house. We had a perfect time and really enjoyed staying there for 9 days at the year-end.

It was a perfect experience to use Summer In Italy!

Travel tips

  • You need a car. It takes about 20 minutes to get to a larger shopping area and good restaurants.

September 2023 - We enjoyed our stay at Villa Mimosa very much. The lovely spot at Calvanico, with its infrastructure (alimentari, bar, market, restaurant), provides a perfect starting/arrival point for daily trips and hiking tours in the beautiful surroundings.

The owner of the villa is a very kind person, very helpful and courteous, speaks very good english and provided us with good tips and recommendations.

Booking process, information about the place, and the whole organisation on site (included welcome email and check-in info) were excellent.

Travel tips

  • I would like to recommend the hiking trip to Monte S. Michele.
  • Archaeological sights of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum.
