July 2012 - The views are amazing. You can see Ravello from the terrace and hear the music from the concerts. The terraces of Villa Margherita are beautiful.
We loved staying in Minori as we found it to be a quiet, relaxing seaside town, and yet we were able to visit Amalfi, etc., easily.
Antonio [the owner] was very hospitable, generous and helpful. My son was thrilled with all the little cakes and milk (plus many other foods) that Antonio left for us.
We hated to leave!
Travel tips
- We loved Ravello and visited it 3 times (access from the Amalfi coast way)
- The "gelateria Crystal" has the best gelato in town!

August 2011 - It was a fantastic week, great location. We sat on the terrace among the lemon trees for hours!
As keen walkers we found the 200+ steps to the villa from the town no problem, but others might think differently! There is a free bus, however, that goes hourly from around the Church.
We were surprised by the vast amount of provisions that were left for us, and replenished as needed. (e.g. tea, coffee, milk, breads, cereals, milk, butter, jams, pasta) That was totally unexpected and really nice.
Antonio [the owner] and the cleaner couldn't have been more helpful.
Travel tips
- Parking was a bit of a nightmare (as was the driving of locals!) There were so few spaces that people tended not to move their vehicle once they had a place - and actually, other than a visit to Pompeii and Vesuvius, we didn't need ours.
- Our favourite restaurant was Cafe Europa on the front - not the most expensive in the area, but really friendly and did great pasta.

May 2011 - We had a fantastic stay. Wonderful villa in a beautiful town.
Found you on google and really pleased with the service and help we received. We would definitely use you again.
Travel tips
- Be prepared to walk up and down the steps to town. It's worth it for the fantastic food and friendly people in town

September 2010 - We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the villa.
It was a beautiful place and the owner, Antonio, was extremely welcoming and kind.
We would love to return one day.
I had a great experience booking with Summer in Italy and would definitely recommend you to anyone looking to book an independent holiday in Italy. The pre-holiday information pack was particularly good and informative.
Travel tips
- All the restaurants in Minori were lovely. Our favourite place for lunch and/or a drink was Cafe Europa on the seafront. The owners Anna and Carlo were lovely!

September 2009 - Villa Margherita is very nice villa but not because for inside rooms but for 2 nice gardens. And also, the owner is very nice, he knows English and in this way he help us a lot with informations about nice places to visit, good and not expensive restaurants, etc.
We liked very much our holiday in Villa Margherita.
Travel tips
- Look for one beach with sand in Maiori and go to one trip to Capri.
Unfortunately, Villa Margherita can not be booked at this time.
We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
