September 2023 - This property was beautiful, well maintained and clean. The views were unbelievable and the location was only a short walk into the shopping/dining area. The house is perfect for adult couples as each room has a beautiful bathroom and several have nice outdoor seating off of the bedrooms. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi pool and grassy seating area at the top of the property.

Manuela, the property manager, was very helpful arranging for a chef to cook dinner for us on the property as well as a porter to carry our bags.

Summer In Italy was excellent. We spoke with Luca and Klint several times between booking and our stay and they could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely book through them again.

June 2023 - We LOVED Villa Manuela! It exceeded our expectations! The house was so clean, rooms were big and beautiful as were the bathrooms but the best part... The views! Every bedroom had some sort of terrace that looked out to the Mediterranean Sea. The grounds had so many cozy spots to sit, relax and enjoy the view. There was even daily maid service which was unexpected but very appreciated. We want to go back!

Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing. Not only was the house and yard beautiful, the owner, Manuela was very helpful and nice.

I will definitely use Summer In Italy again and have already recommended you to a friend.

October 2022 - What a lovely place it is... All rooms are en-suite one ground floor room (toilet) has a fantastic sea view 😁😁... Great kitchen... We are Indians and cooking is an elaborated thing, and we found the kitchen is very well equipped... Yes daily food provisions need to be bought and a nearby grocery offers delivery services... The villa has a jacuzzi pool also so all in all 5++ place...

Daily cleaning is done by house help which is great... Landlady is very very helpful and flexible...

Summer In Italy is a super company and always available to assist...

September 2022 - This villa was amazing. You could not ask for a better view, or more space to spread out and enjoy the view. 5 beautiful bedrooms with bathrooms. Amazing balconies, jacuzzi pool, terraces. Absolutely spectacular. There is access to the sea and a beach as well.

Our hosts were wonderful. Attentive, helpful and warm. Providing advice, tips and helpful ideas for us during our stay.

Top level service, and we felt extremely blessed to enjoy the villa and all that it entailed. I highly recommend both Summer In Italy and the villa. By the way, Summer In Italy was wonderful in putting us in touch with tours and transportation. Excellent recommendations. Superb overall.

The highlight for us was the easy access to the beach and the Arienzo dock

June 2022 - My extended family of 10 included 6 adults and kids as young as 10 and 12. The highlight for us was the easy access to the beach and the Arienzo dock so that we could even take our boat to tour the Capri sights from the ease of our "backyard".

Walking to town seemed a little too adventurous for us at the beginning with all of the traffic, but the reality is that the villa is truly walking distance to Positano. The kitchen was not equipped with any of the cooking basics and we had to order oil, salt, pepper, coffee etc. Thankfully, the Delicatessen in town delivers, and we used this service quite often.

June 2022 - Had such an amazing time - about a 10 min walk into Positano but we enjoyed being out of the crowds and have the space and beautiful view.

Impressive Positano Villa!

September 2021 - All our guests were extremely impressed with Villa Manuela! It is extremely clean and large, with beautiful furnishings.

The kitchen is on the smaller size BUT we didn't really cook much so that was not a big deal to us. There was ton of dining space inside and out so that was great for a group of 10 but we ate out much of the time. The jacuzzi pool was lovely. The house in on multiple levels so it took us a bit to get used to where we were going.

The location is great - right across from a bus stop. We told taxi drivers that we were next to it and that helped them pick us up.

Our host was lovely and we LOVED the daily maid service. They also arranged for us to get massages on our patio and that was not only reasonable but delightful! All in all, we would be happy to stay again.

Working with Luca and Summer in Italy was also great and easy!

July 2018 - We had an amazing stay at Villa Manuela! The place is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. The views from the villa are incredible. Accommodations and housekeeping were above our expectations. We would definitely stay there again!

October 2017 - Villa Manuela has the wow effect from the moment you walk onto the property, the bedrooms, bathrooms, views from the terrace - magical, areas to sit around after a day exploring and for the meals we did prepare, found the kitchen efficiently organized with plates, cutlery, pots, pans.

Our group of 6 couples going back 40 years to high school days all mentioned how fortunate we were to have picked such a wonderful place that the mantra was "it doesn't get any better than this". Did we enjoy ourselves - absolutely!

I loved Villa Manuela

August 2017 - I loved Villa Manuela. I felt like I was in a villa. I especially like looking at the town of Positano and seeing the large yachts anchored right in front of us. We often walked into town and purposefully made stops at the grocery and delicious bakery. We had to be careful of the traffic as we walked into town, but the sights were always spectacular. I will never forget this trip and experience.

I wanted a villa with 6 king size beds and air-conditioning. I could not have been more pleased with our experience from beginning to end. We were a group of 7, with three generations. I hope I can return to Positano sometime soon.

September 2016 - Villa Manuela was excellent. Spectacular views and a very relaxing house to spend vacation time at. Very comfortable. A special place, truly enjoyable. I would consider returning again some day.

The owners were always available to help and offer advice. And the on-site staff was very helpful and accommodating.

August 2015 - Villa Manuela was perfect for our three generational family.

The terraces off the bedrooms were so perfect for sea viewing all day. The house was so well air conditioned we were never uncomfortable. We had to go in July because our five grandchildren are still in school. I definitely would have picked September for cooler weather but that wasn't possible.

I would like to comment on Summer In Italy service. From beginning to end it was easy to obtain information and to interact with all of your people. There was never a problem and if one was possible you anticipated it. I want to thank you for making our family vacation such a joy.

August 2014 - Villa Manuela is a magical place and it is hard to imagine how it could be better.

The outdoor spaces are beautiful, the location is great, the bedrooms are varied and comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen are modern and well stocked.

The access to Positano and the entire Amalfi Coast is easy but the villa still feels very private and away from the tourist crowds. It is a nice walk to town or, down the stairs (there are many, but this is Italy), to the water taxi at the beach below.

The coffee and pastries every morning were such a welcome way to start the day, while sitting on our beautiful balcony enjoying a morning view of Positano and the sea.

Roberto and Manuela [the owners] are fantastic hosts. They were gracious and responsive in their communication. They were very helpful when one of our family members needed to see a doctor, they helped us to arrange various excursions and they are just nice, smart, interesting people to talk with.

In addition, Oksana and Nicola are wonderful and hard working staff who took great care of us and of the property during our stay.

Our family had a great time at Villa Manuela and would happily stay there again.

June 2014 - Villa Manuela is the most beautiful holiday location.

The villa was superb and more than adequately for the 12 of us. Our two weeks there were the best two weeks of any holiday we have ever had.

Roberto and Manuela [the owners] and their staff looked after us so well, helping us book restaurants, etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Keep doing what you are doing. It's magic!

September 2013 - My group of 14 people had a fantastic time at Villa Manuela. Words cannot begin to describe how beautiful the villa is and the views of Positano and the coastline must be experienced first hand to appreciate it.

The villa itself is much bigger than the pictures indicate and it is kept in impeccable condition.

The owners, Roberto and Manuela could not do enough for my group.

September 2013 - I had a terrific time at Villa Manuela! The accommodations were outstanding, a great value, and I did not expect that the owners would be so helpful. They made dinner reservations, arranged a tour of Positano, and scheduled a wine tasting. Also, the maid and grounds keeper keeper made the stay convenient and comfortable.

It was a fantastic stay. The view from the balconies was memorable.

September 2013 - The Villa exceeded my expectations (which were high)and turned out to be even better than the web site photos depicted. I will book this villa again in the near future.

It is in an ideal location with magnificent views from all rooms, close to the beach and excellent restaurants and the staff and management were extremely pleasant and most helpful planning day trips, transportation, in villa meal preparation (chef), restaurant recommendations and reservations etc.

All of my party, 11 folks, are still talking about the villa and the fantastic week we spent in Positano. Looking forward to going back!!!!

August 2013 - We had a wonderful week at Villa Manuela. The Villa is beautiful and very comfortable.

The living room is on the small size (especially if you have 8 or more people) but it does not really matter as you spend most of the time outside using the terraces and garden.

The villa is located about 1.5 km from the centre of Positano, but we were happy to be somewhere a little more quiet. We would walk or catch taxis everywhere - all very easy.

The owners are wonderful, and go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need/organise trips etc.

The views from the terraces and garden are amazing!

June 2013 - Villa Manuela is a truly wonderful place to stay.

The hosts, Manuela, Katia and Roberto, were incredibly helpful and gave great suggestions and were always happy to help with making reservations etc.

It was lovely to be so close to Positano and yet be a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle.

The house is even better than the website indicates and all the bedrooms, including the annex, are equally good. The views of Positano are sensational.

I would absolutely stay here again if I come back to the area.

October 2011 - Villa Manuela was exactly what we wanted when renting a villa for the first time.

The website portrays the villa well but it is so much nicer in reality! It is crisp and clean with beautiful white walls and large blue Italian floor tiles.

It was perfect for our group of nine (4 couples and 1 single). Everyone had their own bathroom (gorgeous and spacious) which was key and views that were incredible.

We dined in twice with a darling older Italian couple cooking for us. It was perfect spending a few quiet evenings relaxing and enjoying the spacious garden and villa after busy days.

Christine, the concierge, was help above and beyond. She explained all the ins and outs of the villa and where to go and what to do in Positano. We called on her for reservations and some favors which she handled professionally and with good cheer.

A highlight of the trip was our dinner at Don Alfonso 1890 where she procured a reservation with the help of the villa's owner, Roberto. It was an experience we will never forget! We didn't have time to do her personal walking tour but saw her giving one and could imagine what a great job she would do for such a tour!

The villa is situated such that it is a short walk into Positano. Our favorite feature of the villa's location was that it was directly, 250 steps, above the Arienzo beach. We spent a lot of time down there with Pepe having morning cappuccinos or lunch. It also made getting into Positano very easy as the boat taxi left from their pier.

Our entire group agreed that we will return to Positano whenever we can and would rent this villa again without doubt.

We chose Summer in Italy for our first villa rental because Valeria was very prompt in her initial response to our inquiry. Summer in Italy was extremely professional and helpful with all questions we had. Communication was always timely and filled with all the information we needed. Every detail was looked after and we felt very secure with our first ever villa rental.

August 2010 - Six of us went to Positano for our 50th birthdays this year, and it must be said that the week here was one of the best holidays we have ever had.

The villa is magnificent, and is actually better than the photos on the website. All people involved in our stay, both staff and owners, where only concerned with our welfare and the quality of our stay. The concierge service was a bonus, and Christine [the caretaker] had our week organised and booked after an hour of consultation. This local knowledge helped tremendously and saved you days of finding things by accident, or not at all. It also puts you in contact with a network of locals, which is always the way to see and do things that a mere tourist would not know about.

Our group has very high standards, and all of us were blown away with the beauty of the people, the villa and the location. I don't think you can have a bad time in Positano, but our thanks go to Manuela, Roberto, Suzy and Christine for taking it to the next level. We will be back!

June 2010 - We loved every second of it. Villa Manuela was absolutely stunning and Roberto & family were awesome. The cleaning crew was fantastic and we couldn't be happier. They made us feel at home in Italy and were always willing to help us out when we needed it.

Extremely good service from Luca and Valeria at Summer In Italy. All of my questions were answered promptly and they even coordinated shopping for some basic food items for the villa upon arrival so we didn't have to go to the market.

The villa itself was clean and well appointed, with an ideal layout such that each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom. What I loved the most though was the breathtaking view from the living room and most bedrooms.
