Amazing, from the beauty of the property to the very warm and kind hospitality!

March 2023 - We stayed with family in Sorrento and had the most amazing time.

Mena greeted us upon our arrival showing us all the ins and outs of the property which was so beautiful and wonderfully kept! Mena even made us reservations for dinner that night at a wonderful restaurant we highly recommend, Ristorante Tasso. Amazing food and hospitality, its a must when in Sorrento! We had Mena’s daughter prepare several meals for us which were equally amazing, she’s a great chef and a beautiful person!

We honestly can’t say enough about our stay, it was magical and well worth the money. Everyone at Villa Lux was amazing, our stay was not long enough! There really isn’t anything the villa could improve upon, it was one of our most memorable vacations we wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Summer In Italy was wonderful communicating which is the best one can hope for when booking in another country. I appreciated all the promptness with the multiple emails prior to our vacation.

Travel tips

  • Definitely take advantage of the cooking if you can afford it! We had all of our morning breakfasts prepared and two dinners after long touring days, such a treat!
  • Highly recommend Ristorante Tasso, all meals enjoyed there were wonderful and the limencello is the best in all of Sorrento, wish we had brought some home or could buy it online!
  • Apps used for transportation and tours that were helpful GetYourGuide, Viator, Omio and Rome2Rio. Trains are great for long distance travel.
  • Bring very comfy walking shoes and practical clothing you can dress up or down.
  • The villa will do your laundry also so that was an amazing unknown benefit!

Very comfortable and with excellent facilities

August 2022 - It is a great villa, well appointed and with excellent facilities. The villa is very comfortable and a good size for a family. We had only 6 so we had plenty of room.

Owner/caretaker was very friendly and accommodating. We had a catered dinner one night and it was excellent. A maid coming in every day except Sunday was great.

Summer In Italy provided excellent service and advice as we managed the booking over a two year period. Would use them again without hesitation.

Travel tips

  • It is a decent walk into the centre of Sorrento but a taxi ride is only about 15 euro.
  • A few restaurants and cafes are nearby. The supermarket is not too far away.
  • We did a van trip down the Amalfi Coast and also a boat trip down the coast. Both were excellent.

It was incredible!

June 2022 - The location, house, owner were fabulous. It would be a dream vacation for anyone. My friends and family haven’t stopped talking about it.

I believe this is our seventh villa with Summer In Italy, and this was the best!

The owner was by far the best owner of the villas we have rented. There is no need for improvement. Her competence was only exceed by her kindness. The villa was spot less and beautiful. Any assistance we needed, she was there. Thank you so much my friend.

Summer In Italy has provided my family and friends with seven summers of magic. We have loved every villa and trust them implicitly to provide a wonderful stay for our loved ones.

Travel tips

  • We made several arrangements for cars and excursions beforehand. The owner knew the best services. I would have made all arrangements through her.
  • We had a celebration and the owner and her daughters did the cooking and setup. Incredible!
