Fantastic
September 2014 - Villa Lieve was full of interesting things with its many rooms/seats as well as books, guides, etc.
The kitchen was large and well stocked with all the needed cooking/eating implements. Beds were comfy with good linen/towels. Beautiful views from the terrace, watching sunset on Orvieto each evening was delightful. Garden was truly extensive with olive trees, vines, the lake (although we didn't go in it!) and of course the pool (although September was getting a little cold and we were always out during the midday sun).
Despite the lack of language skills on our part, Mirella [the caretaker] came each day to clean up, put out bins, etc. Very much appreciated. We didn't mind the dogs Victor and Vlad!
Go there and enjoy it - we did and we would be happy to come back again, although we love move around the country.
If we will need a villa in the future we will definitely use Summer In Italy again. Thanks.
Travel tips
- The well stocked Coop near the "autostrada" was where we bought 90% of our needs.
- Although we could have happily spent all day in the villa we get out to explore the area.
- Every little hilltop town or village is worth a look.
- Finally you can't go wrong when eating out - I think that guests put on an average of 5 kg!
Unfortunately, Villa Lieve can not be booked at this time.
