Great accommodation and location

June 2025 - It was great, excellent accommodation, they responded very quickly, taxi and bus stop very close, market nearby, 10 minutes to Positano by taxi.

Difficult stairs for those who are not used to it. But few stairs compared to other houses in the area.

I would come back again!!

Amazing time at lovely apartment

September 2024 - We had an amazing time at this lovely apartment. Everything was just as listed and the host was extremely responsive and helpful with directions on how to get to the apartment.

Perfect location in between two very busy cities on the coast. It was nice to come back to a peaceful location after exploring for the day. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect stay with beautiful views

September 2024 - This property was perfect for our stay! The location was within walking distance of great restaurants and the balcony had beautiful views of the majestic sunsets.

The property was just as it appears in the ad, very clean with all of the amenities we needed. Upon check-in, Danilo [the caretaker] , bless his heart, carried my large suitcase up the stairs as if it were a carry-on.

The pool was nice to have after a day of sightseeing, to cool off before dinner. All of the people there were so nice and we can’t wait to go back!! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Amazing place to stay in a great village

September 2024 - This was an amazing place to stay in a great village. We avoided all the busy tourist areas and were able to relax and chill out here. Everything was as shown so no surprises with the villa, having the pool was awesome. Would highly recommend this option due to its location and facilities.

Wonderful holiday in Praiano

September 2024 - We had a wonderful holiday in Praiano - the Villa had everything we needed to be more than comfortable. And far less steps than expected.

The views are spectacular - sometimes we were just sitting on the balcony looking at the bay of Positano as the light changed throughout the day.

Danilo was an amazing host, super responsive with great suggestions whenever we asked. Loved our stay!!!

August 2024 - When we pulled up the the entrance and looked at the stairs we never imagined what was waiting at the top. Be prepared to make the climb but what’s waiting is worth it. What a view and wonderful accommodation.

The lower seating area offered a great place to chill and overlook the sea. The 2 bedroom balconies offered a place to sit before retiring. You even have a view from the pool.

We can’t say enough about how pleased we were with the accommodations and the well equipped apartment. I would definitely recommend it but don’t eat to much because you have a lot of walking to do if you want to see all there is to see.

Exceptional stay

August 2024 - Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The location was ideal—conveniently close to bus and taxi stops, restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store. Additionally, the church and the path to the beach were just a short walk away.

The villa itself was immaculate—clean, inviting, and thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the balcony offered breathtaking views that made every moment special. We especially enjoyed the pool and the rear outdoor space, which provided a serene retreat after a day of exploring the Amalfi Coast.

The peaceful atmosphere of Praiano, combined with the friendliness of the locals, made our stay even more enjoyable. The Villa exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Stunning views!

August 2024 - The views are stunning. You have your own well manicured backyard with a pool! There are even cherry tomatoes growing back there!

The town is quieter than Positano which we really enjoyed.

I would definitely stay again.

It totally exceeded our expectation!

May 2024 - We absolutely LOVED Villa Grecale. It totally exceeded our expectation! We selected the villa for its outdoor space and it did not disappoint! The multiple terraced levels were incredible with views everywhere. I wish we could return again to stay in this wonderful place!!

Praiano was a great location in itself and Villa Grecale is located very conveniently within Praiano. The Amalfi Coast is all about steps - so there were a lot of steps to the villa but it was still a very easy walk to town to get to the grocery or to restaurants.

Summer In Italy was wonderful, helpful and responsive. Thanks for everything!

May 2024 - Wonderful place and the view could not have been better. A little store nearby and restaurants within walking distance.

I loved that you suggested this place when our first choice was not available. I can't imagine liking anyplace better than this for our needs.

Very good

August 2023 - We loved staying in Villa Grecale. The whole family gravitated to the front balcony for morning coffee and evening sunsets - the view is gorgeous! The villa was clean and well appointed; the floor tiles in the bedrooms were classic Italian. The only thing we missed was having a pool or nearby beach to soak in at the end of our days. The second bathroom sink drained slow, but nothing worth bothering the lovely owners about.

Every single recommendation (for restaurants and shops) from the owners worked out wonderfully for us.

Every single employee at Summer In Italy I interacted with was pleasant and willing to help. It took the stress out of planning (well, almost!), knowing I had access to a knowledgeable company with pleasant employees and extensive online information to refer to. Loved the newsletters! I have already recommended you to friends and we will be using Summer In Italy for our next trip to Italy.

August 2023 - We loved the Villa Grecale. Perfect for 6 adults. Views amazing, huge amount of outdoor spaces and pool is perfect to cool off. Two main bedrooms are so huge and spacious, and kitchen well equiped.

Lucia's husband [the owner] was amazing the day we arrived and very helpful and informative. He helped carry our bags up the stairs.

Staying here was the perfect end to our two months of travelling around Europe.

I had a great experience with Summer In Italy. We booked our accommodation quite late and everyone tried to help us securing a place, offering us other options.
