An impressive Cilento villa

October 2019 - Villa Ginevra was very impressive. The pool is huge and the upper terrace is amazing with the large stone table. Great for a party ! We all loved it. We were well pleased and would definitely recommend the villa.

I discovered Summer in Italy on the internet. I wanted a villa in a specific area which would accommodate 5 old grumpy guys. Villa Ginevra was exactly what I was looking for and the price was fair, especially when divided 5 ways although only 4 went made it. The informative letters from Luca were much enjoyed and appreciated. Everything went according to plan

  • I specifically chose this villa because of it's proximity to the southern Cilento coast which I wanted to visit. Paestum, Maratea, Marina Di Camerota, etc.
  • Visitors who want to dine in a family style home restaurant should go to "Gli Orti Centenari" in Pollica. Marco and family make you feel like you've known them for years and the food is typical home style Cilento, this is southern Italian hospitality. Highly rated by Italians, check out Facebook.

Didn't want to leave!

September 2019 - We have spent ten amazing days at Villa Ginevra and truly didn't want to leave!

First of all, the location is amazing. If you are looking for a quiet holiday with your family and friends, want to enjoy the sea and delicious Italian food this place is just right. The sandy beach is very nice and just 2 minutes walk from the villa. The supermarkets (5 minutes by car) have all you need (also the fresh mozzarella).

Secondly, the villa itself is very beautiful and cozy. There is a lot of space, so everyone can have their privacy. At the same time big table allows a big group to sit together and unify.

I am very happy about the service provided by Summer In Italy. Everything was perfect and I am looking forward to the future vacations in Italy!

Travel tips

  • You definitely need a car in this area (at least to go grocery shopping).
  • There is an amazing vegetable market and a fish shop -- ask Giovanna [the owner] for the directions.
  • Further, the village Castellabate is worth visiting.

October 2018 - Nice spacious villa with sea view from the roof terrace. Location in a small village with some restaurants. Off-season was very quiet.

  • Hiking in the hills.
  • Nearby (100 meters) sandy beach.
  • Nice small villages reachable by car (Castellabate etc).

Really enjoyed ourselves

June 2017 - It was excellent and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The location was brilliant and the pool was very popular.

The cleaning staff were great (although we told them the first day that daily cleaning of the interior was unnecessary).

Summer In Italy were very efficient.

Unfortunately, Villa Ginevra can not be booked at this time.
