April 2012 - The villa was in a great location, about 500 metres from the centre of the resort, next to a shop and a very cheap but with excellent restaurant.

The villa was very clean, well stocked with all you need and the view from the balcony was beautiful.

Travel tips

  • If you're going to hire a car get a small vehicle, the roads around Sorrento and to Marina del Cantone are narrow and very bendy.
  • Pompeii was impressive but Herculaneum was smaller so you could get a feel of how people lived. Definitely get one of the audio guides.
  • Naples was dirty and the roads terrible with Italian drivers the most suicidal I have ever seen, but the museum is a must-see so maybe go by train.
