September 2011 - Villa Gaudiosa A is a wonderful place to stay in the centre Sorrento within easy walking distance to the central restaurants.

We had a wonderful balcony with our rooms and a beautiful view of the extensive gardens which are open to the public serving food and drinks all day.

There are facilities for children including a swimming pool and trampoline and lots of areas for the adults to sit and enjoy the sun or shade.

Also within 50 yard walk there is a car park very convenient!

You have an excellent site with beautiful apartments available - we would book through you again.

Be prepared beds and sofas that are harder than we are used to in England!
There is a hospital next door and can get noises from alarms. However close the windows and get some earplugs for the first night after that you should be alright. There is air conditioning in all rooms.
We booked a car in Naples so we had to drive though Naples and back again to return it. In retrospect we would get the coach to Sorrento and then book a car when we needed it in Sorrento. the drive through Naples was horrendous as the rules of the road a completely different there and you need nerves of steel. My conclusion is that they Italian drivers are really good as if we drove like that in GB there would be pile ups everywhere. Be warned!!
