Enjoyable stay at the Villa
June 2025 - We really enjoyed the Villa. Very spacious for 8 people.
Quiet, beautiful surroundings and walks. Outdoor area and pool was lovely. Clean and well equipped.
Have booked with Summer in Italy before and certainly would book with them again. Always very helpful with accommodation and lots of information on places to see and tours. Always respond to emails
Travel tips
- Need a car but beautiful towns not far away.
- Ostuni was special and Matera.

Phenomenal landscape
August 2024 - The managers, grounds, landscaping and outside entertainment areas are phenomenal.
I would definitely book with Summer in Italy again, they were very helpful and always responded to our emails in a timely matter.

- Definitely would recommend a car, as there is nothing within walking distance.

October 2023 - The Villa Garbata is simply put, a beautiful home. The layout and workmanship in this home is rarely seen by the average American family.
The setting among the olive groves was a nice change from the water front property we rented before, Villa Ginevra.
Travel tips
- I rented this home outside of Ostuni because of its strategic location, so we could explore the southern Puglia area.
- Actually the town of Ostuni was a pleasant surprise with a nice piazza and lots of antique shops.
- Matera old town is definitely worth a drive and I strongly recommend the museum and ancient city of Egnazia.
- I also recommend driving to Santa Maria di Leuca at the tip of the heel of Italy. This is a serene place of beauty.

A perfect house for our family
July 2023 - A perfect house for our family. Comfortable with all of the amenities that we Americans appreciate.
The house is very private and the grounds and home are well maintained. We especially enjoyed the patio area having most of our meals alfresco. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable and linens and towels well stocked and bathrooms quite nice.
We found the location very private and in the country yet convenient to Ostuni and major roads to other cities. This is a unique and very special part of Italy.
Our host owners prepared a delicious Farm to Table meal twice using their home grown vegetables. We were very satisfied and can not think of any improvements.
We have always been very pleased with the rentals that we have contracted with your company.
