Everything was perfect!

June 2016 - Being Australian the Amalfi Coast is our favorite place. We have stayed in various towns and villas in the area many times. However this time we had fine tuned our visit to our exact needs. Everything was perfect, even the time of year we travelled.

Villa Debra A is close to everything, however away from the crowds and many tourists who have discovered this wonderful coast. Wonderful having our own local beach, with a great little cafe for coffee or lunch. Also free local boat transfers to other villages if you eat at their cafe (otherwise minimum cost).

Perfect owner, left you alone, however ALWAYS around when needed. Don't change anything... You have a wonderful life style where you live. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We will be back!!!

Summer In Italy staff was extremely helpful. Always contactable and prompt with service. Just keep doing what you are doing!

July 2015 - We had a lovely holiday in Villa Debra A. It was clean and well furnished. Bedroom two is small, but the terrace is lovely with incredible views so we did not really notice the lack of space inside. The location was good for us - only 10 mins walk into Positano and having private steps down to the beach was a real bonus, although coming back up was hard work!

Anna and her family [the owners] were very friendly and helpful and I think it was a bonus that they lived so near by.

Summer In Italy were very helpful and everything went smoothly. We won't hesitate to recommend you or use your service again.

June 2014 - Villa Debra A is the perfect place to stay in Positano.

The bright and cheery villa was spotlessly clean, well equipped and the owners were friendly and helpful during our stay.

The villa is in a perfect position within walking distance down to Positano and the private beach down the steps was just beautiful. Villa Debra A ticked all the boxes, no plastic hotels for us, only charming villas with personal service. This was the highlight of our month long Italian adventure, only problem being we only had 6 nights here, can't wait to return!!

Thank you so much, your site is easy to use and everything is "as shown" and the villa was perfect. We found you on line whilst planning our trip and wish I had found you earlier for some other accommodation. Your newsletters are a nice bonus too!! Thank you again, we will be back one day.

October 2013 - Villa Debra A was a spotlessly clean apartment where you could self-cater and enjoy your meals on the verandah with an incredibly beautiful view of Positano.

August 2013 - We loved Villa Debra!

May 2013 - We stayed in Villa Debra A for a week and it was perfect for our holiday, which was to walk some of the mountain paths.

The view from the balcony is spectacular, out to the islands, up and down the coast and of Arienzo beach below, which you have a stairway to. My husband swam most days but the water was still a bit cold for me.

There is a bus stop right outside for the SITA buses to Amalfi and Sorrento and also for the local buses between Praiano and Positano. It is only 45 0m to the Sponda bus stop and Positano, and in the other direction it is only 500 m to the walking path to Nocelle and the start of the "Path of the Gods".

The villa is equipped with everything, dishwasher, washing machine (pegs and clothesline on balcony), very good WiFi, satellite TV, and has a large shaded balcony where you can spend your days if you want to. The main bedroom has screened french doors onto the balcony so you can hear the waves breaking on Arienzo beach at night. The whole apartment is air-conditioned, but this was not necessary during our stay. The road is above you but you rarely hear it.

The villa is nestled in among other houses and apartments occupied by extended family who are all friendly and welcoming, including the cats, and also other guests. We were met by Anna on arrival who welcomed us warmly and was available for any inquiries.

We hope to return to Positano and would love to stay in Villa Debra A again.

April 2013 - We enjoyed our stay at Villa Debra A. The view was fabulous. The balcony overlooked the ocean and the beach. The villa seemed recently renovated and was immaculate.

There were a lot of steps and walkways to get to the villa but the residents around are friendly and make you feel part of the community.

August 2012 - Great location and Villa Debra A was well equipped with nice furniture.

The terrace was wonderful and the view unbeatable. Some part of the steps to the local beach were quite steep and could be scary if you suffer from vertigo. Would have liked wi-fi, but then again when on holiday...

Parking in the high season is a nightmare but we rented a small parking lot nearby -- small car only!

June 2012 - My brother and I stayed at Villa Debra A from late May into early June. This villa was everything we hoped and more.

The views are amazing and the owner, Anna, was great.

It is a short walk to the center of Positano but far enough away to relax and sit on the terrace to enjoy the beauty of Positano.

August 2011 - The apartment was spotlessly clean and sparkling, far more than we expected. Larger than we expected. The kitchen was very well supplied with utensils, a large cold refrigerator freezer, and even a fully stocked cellar of red and white wine.

We are fussy and even pedantic on the standard of our accommodation and this exceeded our expectations and highly recommend it.

The access down to the private Arienzo beach was special. An easy 15 minute walk to Positano beach and supermarket and restaurants.

The large balcony with table and chairs was sensational with incredible view down to the beach and over the many super yachts and boats anchored right under our apartment.

Anna and Ferdinando, our landlords, were delightful and happy to do anything to make our stay happy.

Signora Anna [the owner] was a very nice and open-minded woman.

We want to come back in about 2 years, as we always do.

The Location Villa Debra is in good distance To Positano center, very calm, all including very good for normal families.

The children have to walk some 20 minutes to reach Spiagga Grande, the beach underneath the apartment is like private and reachable in 10 minutes.

The view from the terrace is much better than from Most terraces in Positano center. you can even see some Rocks of Capri Island!

September 2010 - We had an amazing stay - Villa Debra A was a great choice and we'd highly recommend staying there.

I had never been to Italy, I started doing some research online for a trip I was planning for my family (wife, infant son, Mother in Law & her sister). I came across Summer in Italy - they were highly recommended on Trip Advisor, and after having dealt with them I can see why. Luca and his staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to my initial inquiries. They helped arrange for a driver - he drove us from Rome airport to the Villa and back. We also used the driver for a day trip to Pompeii.

The Villa was beautiful, the view was spectacular and Positano was and is a magical place. The owner Anna and her husband were super nice and assisted in numerous ways (they live just below).

Thanks for a most memorable vacation - we'll never forget!

September 2010 - Debra A is a great choice for Positano. It is a beautifully decorated and maintained apartment. Its view is incomparable and being a little away from town made it quiet and serene.

The walk to town is short, although you have to get used to walking a short way on a busy road before you get to the side walk in town. You can easily use the bus just next to the entrance. There are a good many steps getting in and out of the apartment but where in Positano are there not.

The apartment is well suited for one couple or a family of four. If you enjoy tasting the wine of the region the landlord provides a wonderful selection in a wine cooler at a very reasonable price. If you want to cook the kitchen has everything except good cooking knives. It is easy to have meals or groceries delivered.

The owners are a delightful, hospitable young couple who grew up there and know the area well.

I have booked many apartments in Europe over the years and I found Summer in Italy very easy to work with and highly professional. Thank you for your good work. I discovered you by chance on the Internet.

August 2010 - My wife and I have traveled all over the world, including almost everywhere in Europe. We both agree that Villa Debra A was the most wonderful place we have ever stayed. Each room was a work of art, from the ceramic floors to the inlaid sculptures, alcoves and paintings, the villa was a touch of heaven. All of the appliances were very modern and up-to-date.

The vista of Positano and the Tyrrhenian Sea were simply magnificent. The beautiful beach was almost semi-private. Our only concern is not IF we will be back but simply when.

July 2010 - Villa Debra A is a lovely villa. Perfect for a family of four. It was clean, bright, air conditioned and nicely decorated. The view is incredible - all day and night.

The Master bedroom is gorgeous, but the second bedroom is a bit dark and stuffy (no windows). Not quite as big as we imagined, but just right for the four of us.

Nice to have a washing machine and dishwasher!

Again, it was a charming, lovely villa.

This is a fantastic web site and it is very easy to use. We have told friends and family about it and will continue to do so. So helpful that staff can communicate in English (other languages too, we would guess). It was great using SII, and we would not hesitate to use it again!

May 2010 - Words cannot adequately express what an amazing time my husband and I had at this villa. The cleanliness was impeccable, the kitchen well organised and more than adequate for a 2 week stay. The views were amazing and listening to the sounds of the waves ripple across the sand as you slept - priceless!

Anna and Ferdinando [the owners] are delightful, I miss them already! We hosted a welcome party for all of our wedding guests on Friday night our last night and they came too, and brought a gift.

This is a wonderful home in a wonderful location and it is well loved and maintained by Anna and Ferdinando, who extend a warm welcome from the moment you arrive. We are already planning to return next year for our first anniversary.

The bathroom is wonderfully appointed and far superior to the ones in local hotels, most likely because Ferdinando is the local plumber so all handiwork and plumbing and electricity are top notch.

I have no hesitation in recommending this villa which is quite simply beautiful. The kindness and flexibility of the owners make it feel like a 4 star retreat rather than a self catering stay. Book it :-)

May 2009 - We loved staying in Villa Debra A and look forward to going back.

Perfect in every way for our needs, and a beautiful way to enjoy the coast and Positano, Pompeii and any number of surrounding spots, if you can tear yourself away.

Our daughter got bronchitis while there, and Signora Anna [the owner] kindly arranged for her doctor to pay a house call to see her, and to allay our fears of pneumonia and prescibe antibiotics; very reassuring, and she mended after that. We were very grateful to Signora Anna, and knew she would help us in any way we required. She helped the driver who met us in Naples to direct him to the villa, was waiting there for us, and helped arrange a pick up time.

Thank you to Luca at Summer in Italy for finding this perfect spot for us, and for mentioning the services of the driver from Naples; Rosario was waiting at the station in Naples, and after an already long trip, he was a very welcome sight! The drive was a most beautiful introduction to Italy and to our holiday; please thank him for us. He also drove us back to the station in Naples after our week at Villa Debra A.
