Awesome place!

August 2023 - Villa Cleopatra Grande was an awesome place to stay. The villa was perfect for our family of eight easily accommodating more as one bedroom suite was not used. We all loved the pool and the view from the villa was fantastic - from every room!

We walked to the main public beach in Positano every other day but there is a public beach that is also wonderful right below the villa. It's many steps down but certainly worth the walk.

The owner lives above and is very friendly. She gave us a thorough walk-through of the property answering all of our questions. We received daily housekeeping and the owner checked in with me every other day to make certain we were enjoying our stay. The owner, housekeeper and luggage porter did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome at Villa Cleopatra Grande. They need not change a thing.

Wonderful Villa

May 2023 - We enjoyed Villa Cleopatra tremendously. 10 adults and 2 children.

Manuela and Roberto were excellent hosts, and very helpful with everything. Manuela even performed all of the required covid testing right at the Villa.

You can walk out of the rear gate and head right down to the Arienzo Beach Club. Only 260 steps(LOL). Great place to spend the day. From there, I took the water taxi over to the main beach in Positano, rented a SUP, padded back to the Club, back to the main beach and caught the taxi back. Nice little adventure.

Travel tips

  • Walk the Via( carefully) over to the ramp at the head of Positano, and explore the beautiful town. Lovely shops and great restaurants.
  • There is a bus stop right above the Villa which is very convenient and inexpensive. You can purchase tickets in town at one of the tobacco shops. Head over to Amalfi for a few hours. Can also take the ferry to Capri for the day. Highly recommended.
  • We chartered a boat which traveled along the coast (amazing views) and stopped at the Emerald Grotto and a great waterfront restaurant. Wonderful day.
