Perfect location which is quite and peaceful

September 2019 - Perfect location which is quite and peaceful at the end of a small private road with your own security gate for access.

Very clean and bright apartment with air conditioning which was very welcome. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need. The apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean as well as the whole complex.

The terrace was lovely for early morning breakfast or evening relaxing watching the sunset. Pool area is lovely with a raised shaded seating area for relaxing or eating.

We were very happy with the service and information given to us as well as the personal updates on Italian lifestyle and culture. We will definitely recommend Summer In Italy to family and friends.

Travel tips

  • The town of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi has all the amenities you will need with plenty of great restaurants and shops.
  • Our favourite restaurant is Il Fienile on the Via Torricelli, family ripen with home grown vegetables from their own garden. Alfresco dining on the outside patio overlooking the sea.

June 2018 - My husband and I stayed here in early June 2018. Accommodation is great, we didn't hire a car but very regular and reliable bus service from Sant'Agata square (about 10 minute walk from the villa) into Sorrento taking about 30 mins.

  • We chose to book some sightseeing semi private/small excursions that the accommodations manager representative booked for us.

Amazing property

June 2016 - It was our second week long stay at Villa Carissa G. This is an amazing property. The property is well managed. Everything works. It is reasonably spacious and very clean. The pool area is big and clean. It feels secure and the town of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, where it's located, is charming though small. The view of Bay of Naples is stunningly beautiful.

Great place. Well stay here a third time!

Travel tips

  • Ask for the top floor. It might cost more but the view is best and you cut down chances of having anyone noisy above you.
  • You can easily walk to Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi and catch the bus there to Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, etc.
  • Bus stop is a 10 minute walk.

  • A car is ideal to stay here however don't hire a big one as the roads leading up to the apartment are very narrow!

July 2014 - We had a wonderful holiday and Villa Carissa G was simply perfect!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and exactly as portrayed in the photos.

The pool and gardens were well maintained and very private.

The road up to the villa is very narrow so take care!

We had a wonderful first time experience booking with Summer In Italy and would have no hesitation in recommending the company to our friends. I hope we have the opportunity to book a holiday with you again.

  • The bakery is closed on Mondays but other days it is open and it has fresh bread during the day.

The apparment was very nice, swimming area always nice and clean and the staff at Villa Carissa was very friendly.

Travel tips

  • The beach in Sorrento is not worth going to as it is over-crowded and very expensive. Use beaches outside Sorrento city centre! We liked the beach of Marina del Cantone. They also have an excellent seafood restaurant there, also easy parking.
  • Lunch at Don Alfonso is highly reccomended!
