Great location and family friendly

October 2025 - The house is in a really great location.

It is a peaceful and secluded holiday home, yet there are shops, restaurants, beaches, and forest trails within 10-15 min driving.

Prepare for amazing sunrises every morning, for superb views of twinkling lights in the evening, we found the house a perfect base with little kids.

Alberto [the owner] was responsive and really helpful, the pizza night was amazing!

10/10 would come back here anytime.

Wonderful stay in stunning villa

The host and the host's family could not have been more accommodating —kind, warm, and welcoming.

The villa is stunning, and the views are breathtaking.

The road up to the villa is, as I was told, steep, so flat shoes and small rental cars are recommended.

Great villa with stunning views

April 2025 - Great villa up on the slopes. Drive up to the villa can be a little daunting at first but you get used to it after the first couple of times!

The views is incredible, waking up to see the sunrise every day was lovely. Hot tub was great in the cooler evenings.

Location is decent when you consider you can take the train from Mascali to pretty much anywhere on the East coast. Just have to factor in the drive (15 mins) or walk (1 hour) when taking the train. Otherwise you're not far from the main road E45.

The kitchen is beautiful, we all loved cooking in their, and the common space big enough to be spacious for 9 people. The icing on the cake was the pizza party, Alberto [the owner] brings ingredients and dough for the pizzas and you get to make/bake them yourselves.

Wonderful time in Sicily

December 2024 - We had a wonderful time in Sicily! Alberto [the caretaker] made us feel so welcome and it was a wonderful surprise to see the house decorated for Christmas!

A beautiful view on Giarre

October 2024 - The host was very nice and always responded quickly. Not only did he welcome us personally, but also made a perfect Sicilian pizza for us in the pizza oven! Alberto helped with all our questions, had many tips on the things to see and even helped with reservations.

We have gathered absolutely lovely memories and send many greetings from Germany!

Amazing stay with breathtaking views

September 2024 - Simply amazing stay here. The views are even more breathtaking than the pictures. We arrived late in the evening and Alberto [the caretaker] welcomed us into the home and even picked up breakfast for us!

The location is not walkable, but Alberto recommended his brother Dario for transportation and I cannot say enough about how wonderful he was. He helped us with absolutely anything we needed throughout the trip and made our stay truly unforgettable.

If you are looking to spend quality time with family in a gorgeous location off the beaten path, then this is the perfect place. We hope to return some day soon. Grazie mille!

Peaceful stay with exceptional views

August 2024 - Our road trip in Sicily ended in this house. It was very pleasant to be in peace in this large house with an exceptional view that is very soothing. The house is very spacious and well equipped.

Alberto was very friendly, very responsive, and very flexible with our arrival and departure times. He also recommended an excellent restaurant nearby. It is a perfect place to rest and recharge between excursions.

Friendly and helpful local service

July 2024 - Incredibly friendly and helpful people. We arrived late and were even driven to a convenience store by the owner (the first evening) so we could do some shopping! Super hospitable people!

The road to the villa is narrow and steep, but the view is breathtakingly beautiful. It is advisable to rent a sturdy car.
