October 2010 - Regular train traffic was VERY audible as it is close by. 4-lane highway noise was very evident.

Daniela [one of the owners] is a gem. Luciano [one of the owners], because of no English is totally uncommunicative, a shame as there is a great deal to impart about viticulture. I taught it at college level years back. As a quality vineyard and olive grove it is definitely substandard compared to the gems seen elsewhere. The estate has a long way to go to bring it up to par. Prospective guest should be aware of this and the fact that there is no agri-info readily available. The fall would be a wonderful time for long term guest to participate in the picking or at least have a verbal explanation of what and why. We probably would not have booked with accurate prior knowledge, but our stay was enjoyable. We left about four days early.

We are very sorry for any disappointment. Unfortunately our knowledge of proper agricultural practices is not to a level that allows us to allow to define the quality of the produce or of the techniques employed, thus we prefer to focus on the accommodations and not on the agricultural activities of the farmhouses. Thank you very much for pointing out the noise factor. During our inspections we never found the noise levels to be excessive, but that is clearly subjective and restricted to the time of our visits. This is one of the reasons why we enjoy hearing from past guests and report their opinions, so that others are informed. Indeed this villa, as mentioned by other reviewers, has the advantage of being close to a major communication road and to a train station for easier sightseeing. It appears that some noise is the flip-side of the coin, and it is good to know as prospective guests who are less oriented towards sightseeing and more towards relaxation can select a more secluded location.

September 2006 - This was our first time in Europe and we chose to do the agritourism and we are very happy we did this.

Villa Beata C was much more than we expected as far as the accommodations. Being an old estate, we did not know what to expect, but we were very satisfied with what we encountered.

The owners are very nice and extremely helpful and I even got a private tour of the winery by Luciano.

Be prepared for a very peaceful vacation. Bring a good book for reading in the evenings because TV programing is not good.

You folks have been marvelous and made every aspect of our rental very easy. You answered all emails with our questions in a very timely and friendly manner, and in the future we will use your services again. Italy is an absolutely beautiful country!!!

Ciao to all and grazie mille.

August 2006 - We had an excellent holiday. The property is superb - top class furnishings, plenty of room and lovely views over the vineyards.

The two swimming pools are also excellent, with plenty of sun loungers and sun-shades provided.

The owners provide a really helpful guide to the area, including suggested sight-seeing trips and recommended restaurants.

Finally, the location is great. A short drive to Siena and many lovely places in the vicinity to visit - and stunning countryside.

I was very impressed with your organisation. I shall be recommending you to friends. Thanks!
