October 2011 - We very much enjoyed our stay.

Daniela [the owner] and her family were very helpful in providing for our comfort as well as helpful with regard to day trips and restaurant selection and reservations. Since we were at the end of the season we only enjoyed one of the home prepared meals in the main building but it was excellent and we certainly would have purchased more if it had been possible. Great home prepared wine and olive oil was available throughout our stay.

It is a perfect venue from which to travel throughout Tuscany with excellent access to highways. The location was exactly as advertised and provided great value.

It was our first stay on a working farm and we would certainly enjoy another opportunity.

Travel tips

  • There are many available day trips with great information in the villa.
  • The village is quite small with only limited shopping and a couple of good restaurants although there are many in nearby locations.
  • The TV is on a second loft floor so it is a bit difficult.
  • The only downside is that the internet while free is only available sporadically. If need be a guest may use the office computer. Only a small issue which should not detract from the many benefits. [Please note that we are aware of the issue and for this reason we do not advertise the apartment as having Internet access. We prefer for it to be a nice surprise, when it works, rather than set an expectation which can not always be met.]

September 2008 - We enjoyed it very much. The interior of the Casa is true to the photographs on the website, except that the living/kitchen area looked smaller than the pictures.

Carmen and Daniela were very kind and hospitable on our arrival quite late the first night. They provided us with a delicious dinner and wine we had not expected, as we were not looking forward to any more driving that night in unfamiliar surroundings after what seemed like a long and somewhat stressful car journey from Rome. It was very, very enjoyable.

The villa is absolutely beautiful.

It was a pleasure to meet Carmen who was always very helpful.

One small drawback was the sporadic Internet connection, as we had to communicate with the office every day. However we enjoyed going into Rapolano Terme and using the outdoor cafe at the theatre where we were able to pick up a connection from the adjacent school!

It is a beautiful property and I would recommend it to my friends and would gladly return again.

Daniela and Luciano [the owners] were wonderful hosts!

June 2006 - Very comfortable and fairly well appointed. The town of Rapolano is not particularly attractive but the surrounding country is beautiful and it is a good central location for most of Tuscany.

The outside seating was in shade so was not used. The pools were excellent.

The photos were very true to the fact and the advice about needing a car was excellent - it would be very difficult without.

June 2006 - We loved it. Having the owners be on premises was great. Daniela provided us with so many tips, so much information and recommendations that made our trip wonderful.

We didn't have a particular view from our outdoor area but the general setting was lovely. Our whole trip to Italy was amazing. We love your country.

recommend it to our friends.

Your staff were right on top of everything for us. Your website is awesome and very informative. We were given your website by a friend and went from there.

May 2006 - Villa Beata B was comfortable, clean, and very accessible to the sites we wanted to visit in Tuscany and Umbria (Montalcino, Montepulciano, Florence, Siena, Assisi, Orvieto).

Aldo and his family [the owners] were warm and always available to answer questions.

The villa itself was beautiful, and every evening we enjoyed a walk around the vineyard or a swim in one of their two pools.

It was an ideal place for an ideal vacation.

Unfortunately, Villa Beata B can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
