July 2017 - Wonderful stay! Perfect location - pretty much on the beach and just a short walk into the town centre. Bathroom is small, but clean and functional. Similarly the kitchen is basic but sufficient. The terrace is really huge though with an amazing view!!
This is the second time we've used Summer In Italy. I love the personal service and the very speedy response times. You always seem very willing to help and offer advice! Have recommended you to friends!
Travel tips
- San Marco di Castellabate is very beautiful for a little trip along the coast.
- We ate at many of the restaurants in Santa Maria di Castellabate but also really enjoyed the beach shack (just a stones throw from the private beach). Friendly service and great food!!

This was the perfect beach vacation
July 2017 - This was the perfect beach vacation. We loved Villa Barbara Uno, the terrace is enormous. We had a reserved spot on the beach everyday. Crystal clear water.
Summer In Italy was great to work with and provided all the information. In addition, it was their suggestion to look at this part of the Italian coast to avoid some of the crowds from Amalfi Coast and get much more for your money.
Travel tips
- The restaurants along the beach are terrific.
- The town is a short walk either by beach or road (5-10 minutes).

- Only a short walk into Santa Maria di Castellabate town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants!
- There's also a bigger supermarket in the next town along - San Marco di Castellabate.
- Definitely try out the food in the beach huts along the sea front - fantastic!

The owners were kind and helpful. We had the most relaxing time.
The beach was beautiful and I liked having our own sunbed and shade.

- Enjoy the sunset from the balcony and the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep!
- The beach restaurants are very good, we particularly liked the white one by the beach hut changing rooms.
- The town is very pretty, not too busy even in the height of summer.

We had a great time just chilling out on the beach and relaxing.
Just 5 minutes into the town across the beach and 10 minutes by road.

July 2009 - Villa Barbara was a great choice. It would be a good idea to provide extra lounge chairs on the beach to cater for larger occupancy villas.
Our experience with Summer in Italy was very positive we booked you because we found your website and liked the villas we saw. Our reason for visiting this part of Italy was a family wedding and it was a great experience we will be definitely be visiting again.
Travel tips
- Make an effort to get to know the local restaurants and bars. We found the staff in these business very helpful and our children enjoyed playing football with the local children in the square at night: the language barrier was not a problem.

July 2006 - This accommodation is exactly as it is described on the web site. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the villa and would recommend it to other families.
It has a beautiful terrace with wonderful views and a short beach walk to the town.
A first class location which we would have no hesitation in returning to. The beach is very clean, safe and not overcrowded.
I spent hours on the Internet looking for accommodation on various web sites and found yours the most useful and easy to navigate. I was most impressed with the friendly and efficient service I received and will use your service again in the future.
Unfortunately, Villa Barbara Uno can not be booked at this time.
