Excellent!

June 2016 - Villa Barbara D exceeded our expectations. For a small one bedroomed apartment it has everything you need. Bedroom and living room are both a good size and shower room well equipped. The sun terrace is fantastic with a view directly to the beach and sea. Lots of room with table and four chairs, and large sun shade.

Very good

July 2013 - Nice, very peaceful appartment looking to the sea. Very good option for those who like to enjoy calm and relaxed vacations at the seaside.

The only negative thing was that beach toilet is close to the entrance of this apartment. However, there are not a lot of people using it :-)

May 2012 - We had a fantastic week at Villa Barbara D and will definitely return.

The villa has a great outdoor terrace and is very peaceful & private... only a few minutes walk from restaurants and shops.

We would definitely recommend Summer In Italy to our friends and hope to use them again for a holiday in Italy.

October 2010 - This was an excellent apartment in a small quiet town (we visited end of Sept 2010). The town is a 5 minute walk away with average restaurants, plenty of shops and a good size supermarket.

The apartment is overlooking the sea with a large terrace.

The apartment complex is small and quiet but Villa Barbara D is especially private.

I would recommend the apartment.

June 2007 - We enjoyed it very much and are planning to come back next year - but for two weeks. We have already recommended it to family and friends.

The kitchen however I will comment on: it is flimsy and badly designed; it is not a matter of size -- our own apartment in Torre Osina (Terni, Umbria) has an old, smaller kitchen, yet much more functional. I have not experienced IKEA furnishings before, and after Villa Barbara D would not consider purchasing any for myself! A wonderful apartment such as Villa Barbara D deserves better than IKEA!

June 2007 - Overall the villa was very comfortable. The kitchen was the main problem with not enough work tops and no grill or oven. The patio area could have had sunbeds on it as it was spacious enough.

It was a fantastic villa in a great position and would gladly come back.

October 2006 - Villa Barbara D was a great place for a holiday.

The location on the beach is very quiet if you want that, and you can also easily walk to Santa Maria or San Marco along the beach for restaurants and lively coffee shops if you want more action.

August 2005 - We really loved our stay at Villa Barabara D.

The sea and beach view was splendid, the local towns were really beautiful and the local people friendly.

The apartment was lovely - very clean, bright and comfortable.

We would love to revisit some time but in the meantime we have great memories of a really lovely place.

July 2005 - This was a fantastic holiday for all of us - we loved the terrasse with the view to the sea, the sun and the sunsets, and the fantastic beach.

And the city of St. Maria de Castellabate was very charming!
