The most beautiful place

May 2022 - My now husband and I got married on the roof top patio. It was absolutely the most beautiful piece of property I've been on. The owners made my special day even better by adding beautiful touches with flowers and candles.

The villa is perfect for families. We had 6 adults and one child and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. And the location is beautiful. Would highly recommend this villa.

Thank you to the owners for making me and my family feel welcomed. You made me special day even better. Dawn and Pete

Amazing helpful owners

September 2019 - I would rate Villa Aronne between above average and excellent. The owners are amazing and very helpful and a joy to spend time with.

Your past reviews were very accurate regarding Villa Aronne and made it very easy to select the right villa.

The house is just like the pictures... Absolutely beautiful, very large and comfortable

October 2018 - We had a fantastic time at Villa Aronne. The house is just like the pictures... Absolutely beautiful, very large and comfortable.

One bedroom has its own bathroom and the other rooms share a bathroom, but they have the best view. The dining room and living room are great places to hang out, as well as the picturesque terrace. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, etc. There is a safe in the kitchen for your valuables. Parking is available. A car is a must to have to stay here.

This is a family owned villa and Giuseppe and his wife [the owners] live downstairs. They and their daughter Gabriella were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Everything was great. Thank you for everything.

Travel tips

  • October is a great month to be on the Amalfi Coast... Fewer people and mild temperatures. Be aware by the end of October many restaurants, attractions, tours and some hotels closes for the off season.
  • The front bedroom has sun in the morning, if you want to sleep longer take the back bedroom with the bathroom.

We had a great time!!

September 2018 - We had a great time!! The villa was super clean and comfortable! We can't say enough about our experience with Villa Aronne!

Giuseppe and Gabriella [the owners] were very welcoming and got us around the area with great care. PS. I left my cell phone in the van that brought us from Naples. Giuseppe got right on it and called the driver back and went and met him and got it back!! Wonderful people!!

July 2017 - Very nice large house, nice view, well decorated.

The Amalfi coast is a mountain area which means distances between places are short in km but long in time. If you take that into account it's a great area and Villa Aronne is then a great place to stay.

July 2017 - Villa Aronne was wonderful we had a lovely time and the owners were really nice people.

I would not recommend it for small children and you need to hire a car but be warned driving is not for the faint hearted. Overall the villa was stunning and very clean, views were wonderful and sitting on the terrace drinking the local wine was heaven you could enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the world go by.

Summer in Italy were very nice and helpful I would recommend to friends. Thank you.

Travel tips

  • Hire a small car the parking is good at the villa but driving on the Amalfi coast you are better off having something small.
  • Stock up with shopping before you get on the Amalfi coast as it tends to be more expensive and not a lot of choice in small local shops.
  • Eating out is expensive.

October 2016 - This is a lovely place out of the way of tourists traps.

The villa was beautiful, fresh, clean and had lovely views of the sea. The terrace is graced with lemon and tangerine trees, as well as kiwi vine. Absolutely delicious!

The kitchen is well equipped and very charming. Just beautiful!!

Once acquainted with the roads in and out to other towns, it's quite easy to navigate. Perfect location between Praiano and Maiori. Restaurant Fico D'India delicious and just up through the gate!

Travel tips

  • Stay at Villa Aronne!! Relax, enjoy the view!
  • If you are a first time visitor to the Amalfi Coast, this is an intimidating drive, all along the coast. Very winding and narrow roads with a lot of switchbacks and large tour buses who will take the entire road!
  • Visit the neighboring towns, try the local wines, limoncello, and seafood!

April 2016 - It's a very well tended villa, looks brand new inside and outside.

Everything works perfectly, there are towels and linens, the kitchen is the best equipped we have ever visited with any kitchen tool you may need and lots of plates, glasses etc.

The cleaning was perfect, no spots, dust, smell or anything of that kind.

The owner was kind and nice, came to the house after two days to inquire if everything was as it should be but otherwise left us alone.

The villa is situated somewhat above the main road between Amalfi and Positano, it's a drive of 10 minutes to this lower main road. That's in our view the only negative thing to say about the location. There is a nice grocery store (Alimentari) in Furore with everything you need within 10 minutes of walking (up hill.....) or 2 minutes driving. Also bar, pharmacy and bank.

March 2016 - Villa Aronne is the perfect place to enjoy the Amalfi Coast. Close enough to other major attractions and still able to enjoy the fantastic views and a very peaceful environment.

It was beautifully kept, very clean and had everything we needed.

The Summer In Italy site has been wonderful, very easy to use and very helpful during the booking process with questions about the accommodation.

Great job! Thanks Luca and Alfano.

Travel tips

  • Definitely need a car to get around as there are not many shops in close proximity.

September 2015 - We enjoyed it very much. Villa Aronne was very lovely property and we liked to stay there very much.

There was plenty of space for our family (2 adults + 2 children) and for our friends family (2 adults) and we did not had any problem.

Thank Yyou very much! Your team worked very well and all of you were very helpful and kind.

In Italy we did not get the contact with the owner of the property, but we called your representative and she got us good information and we were able to meet the owner at the local pub as you suggested. Thank you again and I hope that you can keep your good level of working.

Travel tips

  • It is good to have a car to stay at Villa Aronne.
  • We went swimming to Positano or Maiori and the easiest was the last one.
  • if you like to go to Capri, take the ship from Amalfi, driving to Positano may be much longer than you plan.

September 2012 - We are two couples in our middle fifties with great travel experience around the world.

Our home town is New York. We stayed at Villa Aronne in Furore from September 18 to September 27, 2012.

1. We want to thank Luca Trotta from Summer Italy for promptly refund of our money within 2 business days. By our mistake we overpaid for one day stay.

2. E-mail conversation with Summer Italy was easy and very professional.

Giuseppe – owner/manager and his daughter Gabriella speak English and both very helpful and friendly.

Villa in brand new condition with stunning view to the sea from wrap around balconies and from lovely garden populated with local trees.

Thanks to beautiful weather we spend all our time (in the morning and evening at the garden) – looking at stunning view to the sea and mountains.

Car is a must have. If you want to escape from the big city and enjoy real Italian life in small village, awakening by roosters and birds – it is the place to stay.

We rented Peugeot 5008 and it was plenty of parking space. Make sure that you know what you doing and have driven in Europe before, if you decide to driving at Amalfi Coast.

Restaurants (Ripa and India – 10 –30 meters from Villa) offer a free wi-fi connection.

Villa is very clean like high ranking hotel, includes bath ropes, linens and beach towels. Rooms is very big with high ceilings and a lot of closet space.

Local wine (vino) "Furore" available from the owner and rock wine located in the kitchen which is very convenient.

We again highly recommend this place. Enjoy you glass of wine in the beautiful garden with gorges panoramic view to Amalfi Coast.

Travel tips

  • Pay attention to nearby restaurants (free wi-fi)
  • North American drivers - be aware.

September 2010 - First class accommodation which is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Some very nice touches such as the fluffy dressing gowns and the bowl of lemons. We also appreciated being able to buy wine from the stock in the kitchen.

For us the garden was a delight providing natural shade and with a wonderful view of the sea. For those who like the sun there was ample room on the balcony.

Travel tips

  • We made good use of the restaurant nearby which changed its menu daily, had excellent home-made pasta and super fish dishes and was very reasonable indeed.
  • We got all our supplies from the local grocers shop a short walk up from the Villa - a refreshing change from the big supermarkets.
  • Our flight was delayed and we underestimated how long it would take us to drive from Rome with the result that we arrived at Furore at 10.30 at night. The local cafe was extremely helpful and even made us a couple of paninis which we washed down with 2 beers!
  • Driving along the coast road is not for the faint-hearted but there is good public transport including boats.

Unfortunately, Villa Aronne can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
