July 2023 - The photos truly don’t do this place justice. The apartment was beautiful and only to be bettered by the view from the balcony.

The gentleman who was looking after the property could not be more helpful and was always there to assist if required.

A great stay

September 2021 - Fantastic location, excellent views, a bit of a climb to Ravello so not for the less fit. Villa Antea is basic but adequate and we had a great stay.

Travel tips

  • 140 steps up to the nearest road, 500 steps up to Ravello, if you don't mind walking it's ideal but if you are not very fit could be a challenge.

September 2018 - Villa Antea is a charming place surrounded by green and quite. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from city life and relax with a splendid view over the sea.

Travel tips

  • If you want to make a nice excursion, my personal suggestion is "Sentiero degli Dei" (Walk of the Gods) - from Agerola to Nocelle - with its panoramic views of Capri.

October 2017 - We had a wonderful time. The owner and family are very helpful without being intrusive and stocked the fridge with food and water. He is obviously aware that food shopping in Ravello is a little difficult.

Parking was easy although access to the apartment is via 140 steps and is not for the unfit.

The view is excellent day or night.

Very happy with Summer in Italy and will use again.

Travel tips

  • If you are driving try to get basic provisions, any snacks or wine that you may need at a supermarket on route to the Amalfi coast. There is 1 small lock up garage type shop within walking distance, a few small shops in Ravello centre (a long way to carry) and a Spar shop on the road to Ravello with no parking.
  • There are no restaurants in close proximity so it's a walk or drive (no wine:-() or a combination of both to the town.
  • Do try the bar next to the church San Cosma e Damiano, a short walk, where the locals were entertaining and the Prosecco was good.
  • The walk ways down from Ravello are safe at night and an easy walk down to Amalfi took us 50 mins and was very enjoyable. Sita bus back unless you are young and super fit.

If you are looking for a very relaxing break then this is for you, if you prefer something a little lively then it is not.
