What a beautiful place!
August 2026 - What a beautiful place! We had a lovely time, and would be happy to return. It was clean, well looked-after, with great staff and stunning views, just as described.
The location was ideal: it was a short (if steep) walk into two different towns, with small stores in one and a decent supermarket in the other. It was possible to drive to other places but there was plenty to do locally without needing to do so. It is literally on the Greenway del Lago, and we walked in both directions to the end of the Greenway (on different days). The only downside was that the road seemed to attract some noisy traffic on a sporadic basis, even late at night, which was sometimes disturbing.

Travel tips
- Ask the local staff, who are very knowledgeable about the area, and will happily give suggestions based on your particular interests, and will be able to tell you about special events going on.
- We went on a boat to Bellagio, but weren't overly enamoured.
- We walked, enjoyed the wonderful hand-made ice creams at La Fabbrica del Gelato in Lenno, went hiking, walked along the Greenway, and enjoyed the swimming pool most days.

Wonderful week at Girasol apartment
August 2026 - We had a wonderful week in Residence Celeste Sei.
Everything is as described and as shown in the photos. In fact, it's even more beautiful because of the view from the balcony!!
The kitchen has everything you need. Nice bathroom.
Very kind and welcoming owner family.
I will miss having my cappuccino early in the morning on the balcony with a view of the lake and the mountains.

Travel tips
- We took the ferry for a day to visit some other villages. It was a lot of fun. The best part for us was sailing on our rented little boat on the lake. Highly recommended!

July 2026 - We enjoyed our stay at Residence Celeste Sei.
The owners were very helpful.
It is approximately a 10 minutes walk to Lenno, to catch the boat or bus. Saved the hassles of finding a park. You can also walk to Tremezzo, where there is a better choice of restaurants.
Summer In Italy provided all the information we needed.
Travel tips
- Well worth buying the round trip boat ticket, which goes from Lenno to Tremezzo, Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna. Varenna was our favourite.

June 2026 - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Residence Celeste Sei. The apartment was beautifully presented and the view over the lake and surrounding countryside was amazing. We soon got used to the walk along the greenway down into the town and particularly enjoyed our coffees and meals in Lenno.
We were very lucky with the weather, which was perfect most of the time we were there.
The owners of the Residence were extremely helpful and friendly and it was great that they arranged transport for us on our arrival and departure.
We would not hesitate to recommend Residence Celeste Sei to anyone who is reasonably fit and enjoys walking. We hope to go back there again soon.
Summer in Italy was such a great find. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience starting from the online chat through to booking the accommodation. I also enjoyed the newsletters. I would recommend the Summer in Italy website to anyone wanting to book holiday accommodation in Italy.
Travel tips
- We loved Lenno, it had everything we needed - a good supermarket, the ferry and the Sports Bar.
- We would definitely recommend walking the length of the Greenway del Lago - not necessarily all at once.
- The C10 bus is the cheapest way to get from one town to the next but the ferry is a better way of seeing the lake.
- There is so much to see and do on Lake Como, it is hard to know where to start - we just loved it all.
