September 2008 - We did enjoy I Pini.

It was very adequate, though it might not satisfy someone looking for something more "high end".

The staff (especially the office helper) was very helpful. The owner was very friendly, even supplying fresh produce from their garden.

Travel tips

  • The farm melons are very good!
  • The Coop in Asciano is a good place for most groceries.
  • We enjoyed the location. It was central for the whole Siena to Assisi area. We also enjoyed the nearby towns, especially Lucignano.
