October 2021 - It was much nicer, more spacious, cleaner than expected. The entire equipment (kitchen, bathroom and outdoor area) was above average.

We would like to express our thanks to Quintino, the manager of the villa!!! He came every day to feed the dogs and the tomcat and was always on hand to give us advice and assistance if we so wished. This gave us the pleasure of buying fresh fish from the local fisherman, getting local olive oil and tasting delicious pastries.

Travel tips

  • A car is recommended for exploring the area, shopping and dining as the villa is secluded and quiet.
  • The siesta is usually between noon and 4 p.m., with the exception of the supermarkets.
  • You should definitely go to the center of Lecce on Saturday evening or Sunday to experience the flair.
  • The desserts and coffee specialities at Martinucci in Lecce are particularly recommended.
  • Interesting destinations were Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca, and Castro.
