September 2025 - The apartment is a good 15 minute walk from the main area of Sant'Agnello up an incline, but the view from the terrace is lovely being so high up. It felt strange walking through a shared courtyard to the front door but the neighbours were friendly.
It was clearly residential rather than holiday, and overlooked family allotment plots which I rather liked being an allotmenteer myself.
The owner was very friendly albeit extremely limited English, but we managed!
Booking through yourselves was easy, I would definitely book with yourselves again should we return to Italy.
Travel tips
- 15-minute walk to the bus stops and train station.
- Local shops were very friendly and reasonably priced.
- Pompeii by train was cheap (don't do the organised trips!).

Travel tips
- Travel by train to sightsee. The station is a 10 minute walk and goes from Naples to Sorrento (can visit Pompeii/Herculaneum from train stops).
- From Sorrento there are buses to all different areas including the Amalfi Coast.
- From Sorrento take a ferry to Capri and on Capri go on the chair lift for fantastic views.

April 2025 - We enjoyed staying in a La Terrazza Family Holidays enormously. We really felt like we were experiencing the real Italy and enjoyed having Italian neighbours and using the local shops.
The apartment was very large and the bedrooms spacious.
The town centre and the station were a 12 minute walk away (downhill). The coast was about 20 minutes walk.
Parking at the apartment was easy too.
Very good service and extremely helpful. We were very happy.
Travel tips
- Circumvesuviana railway was very useful for Sorrento, Naples and Pompeii but did get crowded. Service stops at about 21:30 (in April) but the buses run later.
- If you do Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day then the ticket covers both - but you'll get tired!
