Travel tips

  • Do an on-site tour of the masseria with Benedetta.
  • Monopoli day / evening trips.
  • We went to Alberobello to see trulli houses (go early to beat tourist rush).
  • Forget the Grotte in Castellana - Jenolan Caves Sydney much better.
  • A day trip to Matera worthwhile.
  • You need a car.

Beautiful place, really magic gardens and buildings

July 2018 - Beautiful place, really magic gardens and buildings. Not something you meet everyday. We enjoyed it a lot. Our patio with the big fig tree was like from the fairy-tales. The whole complex was a big surprise - the road leading to it is not the most charming one so you do not expect such a magic, historical place, resembling Mexico ...

Thanks a lot to the owners who put a lot of effort to keep the place in its original style !

We already used Summer In Italy in the past years and we are still very satisfied. We will definitely come back to you.

Travel tips

  • We would recommend 3 places: Monopoli old town for dinner, Alberobello to see the trulli and Ostuni at night.

Travel tips

  • The property is a little out of the town but really easy to get to.
  • You must spend time walking around the centro storico of Monopoli.
  • Also, if you don’t want to go all the way to Capitolo Beach every day, you can swim at the cove Cala Monaci - turn left out the drive then first right and right at the junction and the parking area is about 500 meters.
  • We liked the Simply supermarket - left out the drive and it's on the left.

November 2015 - Casa Spiga C is a wonderful apartment located in an ancient building, with a beautiful garden filled with more than 400-years-old olive trees. We really enjoyed our stay!

The owner provides tours through the main house and the grounds telling a lot of its history. Thanks for your wonderful service and for the tour.

I think Summer In Italy are great, will come back for your excellent service next year.

Travel tips

  • In the neighborhoods there are a lot of interesting villages and natural places to visit, like Ostuni, the caves, the Trulli, the coast-line and Monopoli it self is very nice.
  • Next door the apartment there is a very good restaurant with one Michelin star.
