June 2013 - I love everything about the location and property, inclusive of how wonderful the family and Salvatore [the owner] are.

I have stayed before and look forward to my next visit.

Good follow up overall from Summer In Italy and appreciate the immediate responses.

Travel tips

  • Everything is beautiful in Positano, just prepare yourself for disappointment when you have to leave...

May 2013 - I could not have made a better choice in Positano!

It felt like my home there. It was Italian traditional in furnishings and charm, but contained wonderfully updated amenities throughout.

Salvatore [the owner] met us and helped us get settled and oriented. He was there whenever we needed advise or a service.

The view from the balcony and the master bedroom was amazing! We centered our "home time" around it.

The location couldn't have been better-near the beach area and shopping and all transportation options.

Brava, Casa Sasa A. Rating: A++++.

Travel tips

  • If you plan to visit Positano, make sure you are in good physical condition. Any villa or apartment worth renting requires ascending and descending steps. Casa Sasa was one of the more moderate climbs (70 steps to the flowered terrace entrance, and another 29 to apt. A). We got used to it quickly and were in great shape when we left a week later.
  • Both bedrooms are HUGE: the master served as a bedroom/sitting room, and the other was spacious with 3 single beds.
  • RENT CASA SASA A!!!!

Very good

May 2013 - Value for money. Owners are lovely and accommodation was good. Location great with a comfortable patio and a great view. Suits two couples or family with 3 kids.

Owner (captain) will recommend good places for eating out and great supermarket close to cathedral not easy to find (not the supermarket on main lane upstairs, which is expensive).

Travel tips

  • If available, do not hesitate to book, location excellent. Casa Sasa is quite central in Positano and is walking distance to everything.

Fantastic

August 2012 - We had a most enjoyable time at Casa Sasa A. The location is excellent and the host was very kind and helpful.

Highly recommend this property. Note there is no lounge area but the balcony makes up for it!

your service has been excellent. We found you online via Trip Advisor.

Travel tips

  • The local deli really does provide most things and most of the fruit and veg is locally grown. They have an excellent range of beautiful Italian wines and beers.

Fantastic

August 2012 - We loved our time at Casa Sasa A. There was a wonderful view and the location meant that it was very quiet.

The apartment was very clean and the bedrooms were a good size as was the bathroom and kitchen. A/C was a welcome relief! The terrace was also lovely to sit out on and look out to sea.

The owner was very helpful and accommodating.

Summer In Italy were the most efficient provider I have ever used. Very pleased and would use again.

Travel tips

  • Positano is on a very steep hill and there is a climb from the beach to the apartment -- takes about 10 mins but would not suit people below an average fitness level.
  • Beach front restaurants are lovely especially Chez Black but expensive.
  • The inflatable motor boat hire is well worth it at around 70 euro an hour but the boats are great fun to drive and offer a great way of seeing the coast.
  • We would recommend a visit to Capri.
  • Lastly unless you have to, do not use the porter service that is provided in Positano - it is ridiculously expensive - 40 euro for 10 mins work!
  • The car parks cost around 30 Euro a day - in peak times you will have no choice but to use so worth budgeting for.

August 2011 - We loved it, great location and fantastic view. There is no real living area but in high summer you don't need it as we lived on the balcony.

Luca and Andrea at Summer In Italy were a fantastic help!! Thanks so much.

October 2010 - We loved our stay.

The owners were hospitable and helped us whenever we asked. They welcomed us on our first evening with treats. The daughter and father had excellent English skills. The owner's wife was lovely.

Many amenities were available for our use.

The location was close to alimentaris and a deli. Easy walk to bus and town.

Travel tips

  • Know how to contact the owners from your cell phone. We did not manage to figure out how despite instructions that were sent to us.
  • Don't use the washer if you don't know bow to select the correct wash cycle. [We recommend you ask the owners to show you in detail when you check-in if you are not sure.]

Casa Sasa is an excellent place for anyone who visits Positano and spends at least a week or more there.

Travel tips

  • Restaurant Da Costantino on the top of the mountain was the best place to have a great dinner.

July 2010 - Casa Sasa A is a lovely apartment.

The apartment is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and has all of the amenities and supplies you could need. It doesn't really have a living room, but we spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the fabulous view, so we didn't really need one.

There are grocery stores within close walking distance, and the rest of the town, restaurants and bars, and the beach, is a short walk away.

Salvatore [the owner] and his family were very welcoming and hospitable. They were excellent hosts.

We had a wonderful time in Positano and would highly recommend both the town and Casa Sasa as a great place to spend a relaxing beach holiday.

The comprehensive information, descriptions and large number of photographs really helped me decide on the apartment on your website. It is a very user-friendly site. I also really appreciated the fast and helpful service in response to my many questions and the advice regarding activities and excursions. All of the services you recommended worked out very well.

Travel tips

  • The grocery store at the top of the stairs above the apartment is well stocked and is a nicer place to shop than the more touristy 'Delikatessen' in the middle of town.
  • Taking the 10 min walk along the coast to Fornillo Beach is worth it, as the beach chairs are cheaper, and there's a great little bar there for snacks and cold drinks. Also, the restaurant halfway along the pathway, Restaurant Lo Guarracino, is excellent.
  • Renting a boat to do your own exploring and swimming off shore is worth the expense. We had a blast.
  • Pompeii is worth the trouble to visit, it's extremely interesting.
  • And one of the best parts of our holiday was our cooking class with Mamma Agata - it was wonderful.

June 2010 - We loved Casa Sasa!

Travel tips

  • Only drawback is that balcony can only be accessed through master bedroom. No problem if you have teenagers as they always sleep later than parents!

Unfortunately, Casa Sasa A can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
