October 2011 - Excellent location easy walking to the town beach and buses.

Very spacious inside, very clean, lots of outdoor space for dining and a very large terrace.

Although the owners have to pass through the terrace it was not an issue as we only saw them once in a full week.

I would highly recommend this Casa.

Travel tips

  • If you want to watch TV, ask the owner how to remove the 'demo' banner in the top half of the screen.
  • Check the lamps for exposed wiring.
  • Be prepared for an electricity charge of at least 35 Euros.

September 2011 - We did enjoy Casa Nicoletta A for the second time!

It's a very nice an typical Italian villa, with all the things you dream of! Restaurants around you, thousands of flowers and plants, mountains, sun and view on the sea!

Everything works, there are enough linen and towels. The house is clean and there are enough pots and pans.

Travel tips

  • Buy ant spray in the local supermarket. Because of all the flowers and plants, there can be some ants 'working' in and around the house
  • Go to dinner at Restaurant Le Tre Sorelle on the boulevard! They have very, very good meals for a very reasonable price! The waiters are extremely kind and they are willing to change a dish a little if you have a food allergy. Me and my wife eat gluten and lactose free and they can easily manage that!

September 2010 - Definitely enjoyed our stay at Casa Nicoletta, wish it was longer!

The location was perfect and the patio was a great place to relax after being out all day. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Travel tips

  • We took day trips to Villa Cimbrone in Ravello and Pompeii and really enjoyed both, other than that just hanging around Positano is pretty great in itself!

June 2010 - We enjoyed our stay at Casa Nicoletta. The accommodation was very basic but clean. The pictures on your website made it look better than it actually was! The TV did not work very well with poor reception and only cable channels.

We did have a lovely time here though but I am glad the weather was good as I would not really have enjoyed staying in the apartment for more than just sleeping!

The website was clear and understandable and everything you advised was useful.

  • Casa Nicoletta A is a must...
  • Local transport for Amalfi was superb...
  • The restaurant right beside the villa makes the best pizza...

September 2009 - Our stay at Villa Nicoletta A was fantastic!!

We enjoyed the villa very much. And even though we had some bad weather we had such a great time because the view was simply amazing and the locating was the best! In the heart of Positano, just how we hoped it would be.

So our stay made our trip the best ever!

May 2009 - My husband, 3 year old, 11 month old and I stayed here for a week to celebrate my sisters wedding in Positano.

The house was very clean on arrival and was ideal for us as there was plenty of room for my 3 year old to run around.

The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful even though she didn't speak English we managed to communicate our needs!

Travel tips

  • Positano is expensive and if you wanted to grab a quick sandwich for lunch rather than dine out there is a great sandwich shop in the main square opposite the bus stop which makes up fresh sandwiches at a reasonable price.

September 2008 - We very much enjoyed our stay however felt that greater care should be taken to provide a private outdoor space with a couple of lounge chairs.

The kitchen should include cutting knives and possibly some type of toaster or grill. Also an additional living room chair for reading should be provided.

Newcomers should know that one can arrange for a transfer service (taxi) from Naples to the apartment for about 90 Euro. For those with large luggage it will be appreciated.

Travel tips

  • Up the hill from the apartment, about 5 minute walk, you will find two very good restaurants... they are almost side by side and both have tables within the limits of the street.
  • Also when you go down to the beach their is a series of boardwalk restaurants: at the bottom of the stairs, first restaurant on the left has great gelato.

Unfortunately, Casa Nicoletta A can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
