Excellent

June 2013 - Had a great holiday. The property had everything we needed and was typically Italian.

Although the owner didn't speak English the daughter spoke excellently which made it easy when we had a problem with the water which was sorted immediately.

Fabolous pool which was kept clean and chairs around pool were great.

I found the web site on the internet. The staff are very helpful and the newsletters I received each month from booking until our holiday were very interesting. Would definitely have no hesitation in booking through them again.

Travel tips

  • Gambassi Terme has a Spar supermarket which had everything needed for a self catering holiday.
  • Definitely need a car as you are quite remote but this is the charm of the place.
  • The following are worth visiting - San Gimignano, Certaldo, Volterra and I could go on.
  • We found a really lovely restaurant in Empoli called Il Galeone. Food was great and the staff were very friendly. Lovely places to have a glass of prosecco or a Spritz.
