Fantastic

May 2015 - Casa Loto was absolutely prepared and clean. Spacious inside and out, very good furniture and fittings, lovely shaded area outside, plenty of towels etc. Everything was fine!

We were pleased to meet the owners.

Good communications with Summer In Italy.

Travel tips

  • Quite a walk to shops but enjoyable.

Very good

May 2013 - We really liked Casa Loto, and especially the location. This was our first time to Capri and did not have an appreciation of the different parts of the island. We like that it was convenient to restaurants, grocery store, and a short and great walk to a beautiful view of the Faraglioni.

The house was clean and had everything we needed to make our own meals.

Travel tips

  • Getting from the ferry to Casa Loto is not easy. I contacted the manager/owner before leaving Sorrento to let her know when we would arrive. She arranged to have a taxi and was waiting for us when we got off the ferry. This might make the trek up to Capri town much easier than taking the funicolare. The taxi can only take you to Capri town and then it is about a 5-7 minute walk to the house. Traveling light is definitely an advantage.
  • One of our highlights was walking on the trail that runs along the coast south of the Blue Grotto, as well as hiking down from the top of Mount Solaro after taking the chairlift up.

Excellent

May 2013 - We had a wonderful time at Casa Loto. It was everything we expected it to be and more.

We had no problems and were very satisfied with the helpful staff. Signora Lucia gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and was pleasant and helpful.

Travel tips

  • It is very easy to get around as the house is so well situated.
  • The boat trip to the Blue Grotto was my favourite.
  • We found the staff in the shops, restaurants, very helpful and friendly.

Excellent

May 2012 - We loved our stay. Casa Loto is a simple house but with good location and a spacious kitchen with everything we need. Old bathrooms but with shower, bath and plenty of hot water.

Travel tips

  • Supermarket and restaurants not far.
  • Capri is an island for walkers, don't forget the house is in a pedestrian area!

Fantastic

May 2012 - Casa Loto was wonderful... More than we expected. The 2 outdoor patios were terrific and the kitchen was especially well appointed.

The location could not have been better, close enough for a nice walk to services but far enough away to give privacy.

We would definitely recommend this to friends.

Travel tips

  • Just take a map and every day explore a different area. Be prepared for elevation changes.
  • The trip to Anacapri, including the lift up Mt Solaro, is well worth your while.
  • We shopped the local grocer as well as the main supermarket and the smaller were more fun and not that much more expensive. Bolla makes a nice Cabernet for 5.5 euro.

September 2011 - Fabulous stay. Loved Casa Loto and it was in a perfect location for us.

Travel tips

  • Take the walk up the steps to Anacapri, flat footwear a must. The views are amazing. Visit the Axel Munthe museum, it's a lovely place.
  • Favourite place: La Piazzetta especially early evening.

Unfortunately, Casa Loto can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
