August 2015 - Comfortable, good value for money.

The owner's father was very helpful, as was the owner.

We had an enjoyable holiday, thank you. The service offered by Summer In Italy and the owner were both excellent.

Travel tips

  • The apartment is quite a way out of Positano. Self catering can be a bit tricky as there is only one shop within walking distance and getting a car into the centre of town is difficult.
  • The Restaurant da Constantino is excellent and a five minute walk from the apartment.
  • Cleaning items supplied by owner.

July 2015 - Excellent experience overall. We enjoyed Casa Goletta, its pool, Positano and the Amalfi Coast tremendously. The apartment was great for our needs, and views spectacular.

Whenever we ran into problems, the host was easily reachable and super-willing to help. Everything was great, thanks.

Summer In Italy exceeded our expectations. Communication has been exceptional (emails, live chats, info packs, etc.), and the place was amazing. Thank you.

Travel tips

  • We cooked mostly ourselves. There is a small grocery shop nearby, and butcher in town, and you will manage, but some may want to drive to bigger supermarkets nearby Sorrento.
  • There are lots of steps, as everywhere in Positano, be prepared!
  • Day trips along the Amalfi Coast warmly recommended. For beach days, the one in Meta is the best.
  • Path of Gods was great for hikers.

Travel tips

  • The pool doesn't allow balls or noise and is open only 9am to 6pm.
  • The views are spectacular.
