May 2013 - Casa Gladiolo is a lovely place to stay. We used this as a base for exploring Tuscany and found it easy to do day trips from here.

The apartment was high quality - the living area was fairly small for a family of 4 but if you can be outside in good weather then it doesn't matter as the outside area is fantastic! Very clean and host was amazing, providing lots of help and advice (in English) and was very kind and generous to us.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Travel tips

  • We loved our trips to Volterra and San Gimignano.
  • The kids enjoyed the enormous animal park - be warned it goes on forever! Lots of walking if you have little ones.
